Parafilm M PM992 All Purpose Laboratory Film,Semi-Transparent

I was familiar with Parafilm from my student days in Chemistry labs. I started hearing from people that Parafilm had uses outside of the lab as well. Folks are using it to seal perfume bottles, decant, and travel sprays to prevent or reduce perfume evaporation. There is a bit of a learning curve to using this stuff. It is stretchy, but if you pull too much, it will break. Thats why I gave it 4 stars, even though the roll I received was in great shape. Very happy to have it!

I bought and was delivered broken. I just left an average feedback, but the seller contacted me personally, and sent another one without any cost. The second one is intact and sticks very well. I will recommend the seller.

I used Parafilm for 42 years working in a Clin Micro lab. In the olden days we always commented how great it wold be to have at home. Woot! Amazon has made my dream come true! This package arrived in great condition. I tested the film right after bringing it in, after it sat outside a while in 28°F weather. The film separated easily from the backing (old film doesnt readily do so), and the film itself is just as beautifully stretchy and sticky-not-sticky as the first time I used it in Med Tech school. Happy day!! PS: This listing is the real Made-in-USA deal. I noticed another listing that said made in China. Accept no imitations!

I ordered two boxes in 2020 and they worked great for me. I think I will order 4 this time around but I just wanted to throw it out there I never had any cracking or problems with the parafilm I got. Granted its been 2 years (at the time of this review) so maybe the stuff they are sending now is worse, who can say. but the stuff I got 2 years ago from this listing was perfect.

Good stretch and good seal for petri dishes.

This product is past its shelf life, or has been left in a hot truck until hard and inflexible. Do not waste your money. I wrapped it around some jars, noticing it wouldnt stick well. The next day, each wrap was split in several places. The whole roll is trash.
