Parafilm M PM992 All Purpose Laboratory Film,Semi-Transparent

Kind of rediculas that this roll is 20+$ more then other retailers and on top of that the film is old! Very dissatisfied. To get safe coverage over my dishes i have to use 2x the amount of film to make up for the cracking and snaping. Look els where for your parafilm. Itll probably be cheaper too.

I use this for wrapping petri dishes and it works well.

Product looks to be very old. Very poor adhesive. Probably it was lying in Amazon warehouse for years. I tried to stretch it little bit it started snapping off. I will only use in Summer and then only I can say more about the product quality. But, for sure I will not recommend this to buy. It is not worth the price.

I dont know where they got this roll maybe an estate sale from the late Johann Heinrich Friedrich Link (date of death 1851). Its so old you dont even need to pull the backing off it isnt even really attached to the film. I have a 2 year old roll that is in better condition. Highly disappointed. Atleast it stick kinda sticks to itself

I don’t know how I have survived this long without using Parafilm. If you are using Petri dishes, I highly recommend this stuff. It blocks contaminants, and allows for gas exchange. Easy to use, even when wearing thick gloves. It isn’t sticky like tape. But seals a Petri dish amazingly well. There is enough on the roll to seal well over 250 Petri dishes.

Old parafilm that rips. Don’t buy. All of your agar plates will get contaminated.
