Parafilm M PM992 All Purpose Laboratory Film,Semi-Transparent

I bought this for masking model aircraft canopies. The roll will last me a long, long time I think. I know the trick is to stretch the parafilm out first. I have not mastered the technique, but it seems promising.

そこそこの本数を所持しており、たまに飲むウイスキーの保存には必需品だと思います。このフィルムを巻いてるのと巻いてないのとでは香りの飛び方が全然違います。自分はこの巻き１本で２年ぐらい持ちそうです。

For quite a while, I had some difficulty in justifying the expense for parafilm when I can buy enough cling wrap to cover a football field for only a few dollars, not that Ive ever wanted or needed to do that. I bought this to see if it really was worth the cost. The one thing parafilm can do that cling wrap cant is to stretch out to a few times its original size without tearing. If done carefully, a 2 inch square can cover a 4 inch beaker and it wont have any holes in it. It also seems to seal against the glass very well.

Ive seen reviews that these come old/dried out. Mine came relatively fresh and gave me no problems while using it, however, dont reach it too hard itll rip.

I was familiar with Parafilm from my student days in Chemistry labs. I started hearing from people that Parafilm had uses outside of the lab as well. Folks are using it to seal perfume bottles, decant, and travel sprays to prevent or reduce perfume evaporation. There is a bit of a learning curve to using this stuff. It is stretchy, but if you pull too much, it will break. Thats why I gave it 4 stars, even though the roll I received was in great shape. Very happy to have it!
