> 3 dayWe keep these in our emergency kit. Luckily we haven’t had to use them but I feel safer having these in my kit. They hardly take up any space.

> 3 dayLike another user said, this will shed glass fibers if you decide to open it to look at it so be careful. BUT its a full glass mat so it should not burn and should smother a fire out and it is going to be way easier to clean up than a fire extinguisher. Have not had a reason to use it yet (they say to dispose of it after use for some reason, not sure why) but plan on keeping it in the shop for welding accidents

> 3 dayIt’s hard to write a review for something like a fire blanket, as I have actually used it and hope I never need to. But I’m a pretty safety conscious guy with a couple of teenagers that occasionally go brain dead in the middle of cooking something on the stove, and while I have two fire extinguishers near the kitchen, the thought of cleaning up that mess led me to want a fire blanket hoping that could take care of a smaller fire before going full Fire Marshall Bob. If I ever have to actually deploy the blanket and it works, I’ll come back and upgrade my four stars to five.

> 3 dayIt caught in fire! Because I havent needed it not eligible for return! I had to throw the blanket in my pool and just use water to put the fire out! Glad the pool was near by!

> 3 dayI keep this on the work truck just in case. Luckily I havent needed it yet. Its compact enough to fit under a seat and not take up much room.

> 3 dayI hung this fire blanket inside of a cabinet close to the stove using a screw and a washer so its secure and will not slip off. To get quick access to the blanked it will need to be hung up. This blanket pulls out and opens up very easily. It can be folded back up for testing. We also keep a 711a fire extinguisher under the sink. But this blanket would be the first thing to go for and less mess than a fire extinguisher. No one wants to ever think that a fire could happen but they do. Plan ahead please
