Greater than one weekI have a long history of using barely functional umbrellas so I guess some would say my standards aren’t as high as I should make it. Personally, however, I find that this umbrella is no joke. It’s got a huge range, easily can fit 2-3 people with no issue, and is quite tall. It has good reinforcement to keep it sturdy and definitely does not have a cheap feel, compared to other low rated products. On a windy, pouring day, there is no doubt that this umbrella will get me through that. My favorite part about this umbrella is how compact it is. I feel like other umbrellas that are built with this size and durability are just too clunky to carry around, but not this one! When closed, it’s barely bigger than a normal dinky umbrella, and it comes with a sleeve that helps keep the flaps of the umbrella contained. This does mean it’s a bit heavier than your standard umbrella, but it’s never an issue for me. Overall, if you live in an area that gets a decent amount of rain, this is a life saver. Get yourself one!

> 3 dayWas a rainy day and used this right away when I got it. Its a very well made, sturdy umbrella, not like the flimsy ones people sell on street corners here in NYC. This one has two layers of overlapping fabric and sturdy spines that help protect the umbrella from turning inside out in the wind. Its a bit heavier than the more flimsy umbrellas, but worth it for the extra coverage (the canopy affords a bit more coverage than most portable umbrellas) and the fact that it feels sturdy and stable in your hands. Probably the best portable umbrella Ive ever owned.

> 3 dayI ready enjoy the color, the height of the umbrella and the design that makes the umbrella stay in place. I use it on a rainy day.

> 3 dayI bought this to replace an old umbrella that was falling apart. This one is a little smaller than the one I was replacing, but ao far it seems to be a good umbrella. Time will tell, and I can update my review if it isnt up to snuff..

Greater than one weekJust got this yesterday and only opened it up. Seems very sturdy and well made. The first rain and wind storm will tell the truth. Nice and big!

Greater than one weekThis umbrella was actually bigger and heavier than expected. The windproof functionality actually works really well. The auto-open is pretty easy, but auto-closing it is a little difficult. You need to press hard on the button. It takes quite a bit of force to retract the umbrella after closing too. My wife had trouble with getting it closed and stored. Other than that, its always nice to have an umbrella for the car.

> 3 dayMy little red umbrella put up a valiant fight but lost to some very strong LA wind-rain back in February so I was looking to replace it. I saw travel umbrella.... *click*. This umbrella is listed as a portable, travel size unit. Based on what I was looking to replace, I would categorize it as full-size that folds down to a manageable, more easy to store size. It was heavier than I anticipated. I try and pack as light as possible as I always carry on my luggage so every ounce counts. And when I opened it, the canopy was suprisingly large ...definitely large enough to share. This explained the size and weight. Its obvious that I failed to read the description accurately....that one is on me. Regardless, this umbrella is a keeper and will stay in my car. The action/mechanism both opening and closing of the umbrella is very smooth. The canopy has extra fabric reinforcement that combats inversion from strong wind. The worst part of dealing with a wet umbrella is trying to get into the car and minimize getting wet while wrangling to close the umbrella and then dragging it into the car getting everything wet in the process. I really like that the opening mechanism also helps to partially closing the umbrella. It helps to collapse the canopy but doesnt collapse the shaft. That still needs to be done manually. Todays rain wasnt a real test of this umbrellas capabilities, but I think its well designed, excellent construction, and should last a very long time. Once it gets a good workout, Ill update my review if my assessment changes negatively. Until then, I highly recommend this umbrella.
