Pelican 1050 Micro Case - for iPhone, GoPro, Camera, and more (Blue/Clear)

Rugged, good seal and well built.

Just fits my husbands new LG G2 phone with his rugged cover. We kayak and were disappointed that other water-proof boxes/gear we had couldnt accommodate his phone. Now, his phone and wallet can fit into this when we kayak.

Its pelican. Need I say more? Buy this. You wont regret it.

I have used Pelican products for many years, while in the military and also on the civilian side. Ive always had great success with the durability of Pelicans products. Until now. Shortly after receiving my new case, I loaded it up for an upcoming kayaking trip. When I opened up the case I noticed something shoot off. I didnt give much thought to it at first...but then I saw the back of the case, the hinges appeared to be cracking. There are cracks running through portions of the hinges. The something I noticed from the corner of my eye is a large chunk of the hinge. I am HIGHLY disappointed in this quality of this case.

It was a bit smaller than I expected (but matched posted dimensions). It definitely keeps items safe and dry.

But I love it.

Leaked in 6 inches of water.

We use this case for items that need to stay dry while diving/boating as well as for delicate items that are in luggage or in our carry-on to protect them. During dive trips we commonly put our phones, extra batteries, sun glasses and other items to keep them safe and dry since the area used for keeping those items is generally a large table that everyone on the boat shares. Often people are careless about tossing heavy or hard objects onto the table with no care as to what they may drop on! During travel we have used this case and one other to carry everything from liquids to cigars! Only your imagination will limit you to their usefulness! So far they are holding up very well! The soft liner inside offers extra protection for delicate items.

This is something very useful in storing expensive gadgets, in my case earphones & ipod (classic 80gb) when not in use. Size is perfect since I dont have to wind it and put it in. I did place a thin foam on top of the earphones just in case the earphones get moved about in the box.
