Great for cell phone in boat.

perfect for holding my motorcycle registration in my saddlebags. Always been afraid of them getting wet.

Ive depended on this box to protect my phone, fob and wallet for many years while sailing. When it counted it failed. In a capsize it leaked ruining my phone! (I suspect it leaked through the relief valve.) Going to the manufacturer was no help. I just got the shrug and sorry response. They put me through the RMA cycle with no results. Notice that the warranty does not unequivocally include waterproof coverage. Buyer beware. Other Pelican models are guaranteed to be waterproof. Be sure to check!

A friend gave me a 1040 as a gift, and my husband a 1050 and the 1050 is worth the extra cost - fits a couple of phones and other items AND the carabiner keeps in attached safely to your boat or board. Totally waterproof, sturdy, and indestructible! Now I get these for friends who admire ours when we are out boating!

Little imperfections at the rubber but nothing ugly, got this to storage an old automatic watch from my grand grand father, not water resistant so it need a humid free environment. I only wish the rubber seal was separated from the inside rubber.

The instructions said not totally water proof but I tested it submerged in the bath tub and everything inside stayed perfectly dry. Definitely a good buy.
