I love pelican cases! Had to get another one. You can practically run them over with a truck and they protect whats inside. The Desert Tan is also a good looking color. These rolling cases are also ideal for stowing heavier gear. Really makes moving things easier.

These are perfect for air travel for carry on. 5 of us went on a cross country flight and this is real handy. You know as long as it latches it will fit in the overhead luggage area.

The latches do not stay closed. I took this case on my first trip recently and couldnt be more disappointed. When I arrived at the baggage carousel I found the latches loose and the lid unsecured. The latches are so loose, they do not stay closed. You only have to lightly brush them with something and they open up. On my return flight this happened again, and my stuff wound up getting dumped out onto the moving carousel. Pelican used to make a good case, but these new latches are complete garbage and very dangerous. I originally purchased this case to be used for camera gear. Thankfully, I was only using it for clothing on my last trip. If I had been using it for my camera gear I could have damaged some really expensive equipment. Shame on you Pelican for putting such a shoddy product on the market.
