We ordered these to replace the filters in my mom’s cat water fountain. They are easy to install and dispose of. They keep the flowing water fresh and clean, which is ideal because her cats are finicky. If you’re on the fence about this item, buy it.

This review is only about the filters. DO NOT BUY! These are not genuine filters. What that means is that the white mesh outer shell does not work properly - it is not breathable enough, so there is air trapped inside. This means that the filter floats and the water doesnt actually flow through it properly. End result? The water is not being filtered! I even tried poking small holes with a needle to increase breathability. It still floats, so maybe it has to do with the material of the white mesh shell. In any case, this is a complete waste of money.
