Of course my kitty is not happy in a confined space but theres room, its sturdy, looks like shes comfortable making it easy to take her to the vet with hands free and has a place to put keys and wallet if want to not carry a purse. My wife and daughter love it for kitty

I use this pet carrier every time I have a vet visit for my puppy.

Great for my 10 pound cat. However my 12 pound cat is scrunched up. For cat the correct size sturdiness and comfort are good. I especially like the option of shoulder strap. Much easier to carry. Good too and front opening. The carrier itself doesn’t weigh much like hard plastic carriers do. I recommend for any cat not over 10 pounds

I currently own a plastic cat carrier with the door on the front. Normally it works great but now I have to take two cats to the vet on the same day, so I needed to purchase a second carrier. I came across this one and decided to try it out. I am VERY HAPPY. 1. It arrived in a small, flat package. Upon opening it I saw that it collapses totally flat - which is great for storage!! 2. Setup/assembly was a piece of cake. Took a minute, if that. 3. The bottom where the pet sits is covered in a fleecy cover, which has a zipper so you can remove it to clean it. Another bonus! 4. My favorite part: There are doors that unzip from the small side, from the long side, AND the top!! This makes me so happy because normally my cats are terrified to come out once at the vet, and I always have to disassemble my plastic carrier to get them out.... which involves a million clips, and reassembly is always a pain. With this one, just unzip the top, and you have easy access to the whole pet! 5. The optional attachable shoulder strap is great. I normally wouldnt use it, but seeing as I have to carry TWO carriers this time, and my purse, having the option to sling it over my shoulder is a huge convenience! 6. It appears to be very sturdy. I cant confirm this for sure yet, as my vet appointment is later this week, so I havent carried a cat in it yet. But, I have high expectations! Overall if you are looking for a nice pet carrier that you can fold flat for storage, look no further! I may buy another one!

We purchased this carrier for my daughters 4 year old cat. She normally doesnt travel well (i.e. peeing, poo, vomit in the crate). Shes very sensitive and thought perhaps she could smell our other cats in the crates so we decided to buy her one of her own. I chose this one because it would be easy for my teenage daughter to carry around and would look okay if she left it in her room and it had great reviews. My daughter spent 3 weeks training her cat to get used to the carrier. She put treats and cat nip in it and would open different zippers and openings and let her explore it. She would play in it and also just let her nap in it. After awhile she would carry the crate downstairs and sit and talk to her while she stayed in it. Then one day she carried the crate to the car and would sit in and talk. The day of her vet appointment her cat did real well in it and only meowed and carried on but no getting sick. Also in the examining room she ran back into her crate and laid there while we talked so we knew she was comfortable in it. The crate isnt very sturdy if you take the bed out. But the bed is soft and comfortable and the crate is nice with the bed in. The fabric feels very sturdy and can be wiped down or you can dunk in a tub to wash it if necessary. We liked the extra pocket on the outside and that we could use the shoulder strap or take it off. The best part is all the openings. Having a top opening is very useful for an uncooperative cat. We put a puppy pee pad in the crate in case of an accident she wouldnt have to lay on a wet bed for the ride home and having both ends opened made it easy to wrap the pad around the bed. My daughter was able to carry the crate easily but did struggle with bumping it into things so she carried the bag in her arms. Her cat is 8.5 lbs and fit with plenty of room to spare. She snuggled into the back at one point and we still had half the crate empty. When completely stretched out she still has a few extra inches. We are pleased with this crate and felt it was a good value.

I ordered this for my very shy and anxious cat, so he would get used to going to the veterinarian. And the veterinary coveted the cat carrier, and for a good reason! There are multiple entry points for the cat; my cat prefers a top-entry litter box, so I knew hed love this carrier. I used his favorites, Greenies, to get him used to jumping into the carrier from the top. Everyone was surprised at how well my adult cat did on his visit to the vet. I leave the carrier in his room and routinely place treats inside. This helps him make positive associations with the crate. The carrier is made of soft material but is very sturdy. I do not plan to fly with kitty, but I believe its airline approved. There are also long and short straps for different ways to move/load the carrier. My cat and I highly recommend this!

Very well made and sturdy. Has built in duffel straps and detachable over shoulder strap. Screened on 3 sides and top. Can open from either end or top. Highly recommend!

Arrived quickly. Great size. Both my cats individually checked it out and hung around in it for a while. I’d call that a win!

I have a very large cat. In fact, when he’s sleeping in a fully stretched position he’s longer than the cage by an inch. Due to COVID, airlines are not transporting pets as cargo, so my only option during an international move was to try to carry on my cat. This cage has a couple of rods at the top that give it rigidity, but make it kind of a solid box in practice. For airline travel, remove those. They are on the inside, you should feel them. There are holes on the fabric by the end of the rods, just push them through there. This will allow the carrier to collapse a little and fit under an airplane seat (which have irregular shapes). I flew in a Delta 737-900ER, on main cabin, right window seat. This carrier has the maximum dimensions allowed by Delta, but still, the dimensions for all under-seat areas of their aircrafts are smaller in one way or another. This is why they strongly recommend (almost require?) a soft sided carrier. Without the rods I was able to compact the app of the carrier to fit under the seat. The downside is that it’s very awkward to handle, because it collapses when you try to use the shoulder strap without the rods. You have to use the handles. With a 16lbs cat through JFK I got a solid trapezoid workout right there… My large cat? He was fine -when he gets scared he curls into a very small shape anyway, like any cat. They get into kind of a ball shape and become a little taller and wider, but much shorter. The height of the carrier really helps with this. In the end, I think going on the carry on and being supervised was the best thing to do for my cat. He looked comfortable in the carrier, but stressed by the situation. Do talk to your veterinarian about some medication to relax your cat. This was very very important. Without that I wouldn’t have been able to handle him through security, and knowing him, he would have been traumatized by the flight and the move. I’ve been through a move before and it took two days for him to come out of hiding. With that medication, all of this happened and he didn’t even care. He was exploring by night one.
