This is a great resin for miniature printing. Dial in your exposure settings and this resin will yield great results.

I think this resin produces small details slightly better than the non-4K resins like the Aqua Green. Ive been using this resin with my Sonic Mini 4K for awhile now and its amazing. Great detail and cures quickly. Will keep buying this as long as the price remains competitive.

I got this as my first-ever resin for my Epax E10 to make the most of the high-resolution screen. I printed a miniature with long thin weapons and many small details. Printing at 0.5mm layer height with 2s exposure worked great, and supports pulled off painlessly after washing but before curing for 2 minutes. I use 4 base layers at 15 seconds each. For more challenging prints Ive had to raise the exposure up to 2.5s to give the supports enough grip on the large pieces. The finer parts like spears have a surprising bit of stiff flex to keep them impact resistant (but not bend resistant). I have some flex resin on the way to try mixing this with just to experiment for more injection-molded-like durability, but this stuff is already better than I expected. I knocked a star off because the fumes really made my big open basement unbearable without a respirator. You always need one anyway, but I thought the claimed low odor would do well in such a huge space.

Not much to say here. Its a little bit expensive, but there isnt better resin out there for the Phrozen Sonic Mini 4k.

I used to avoid Phrozen resins completely (I got a few with the printers and then a few more when they ran a sale on Amazon, and they all came in leaky bottles and they required massive supports). I avoided them for several years. Then I got Mini 8K with a bottle of their 8K resin, and the new bottle doesnt leak (and the seal is excellent) and it was very easy to print. So I tried the 4K resin. Its very similar to the 8K resin, slightly slower, marginally lower resolution that you can only notice with a small 8K printer. It has excellent printability and is easy to clean. After the IPA bath, its not tacky at all. I wave a UV light over it to cure any remaining wet spots and its done. I dont do the regular all-around curing on it, and it stays slightly flexible! Its actually hard to break, it will bend to the point that it doesnt recover the original shape, but it still wont break (you need to varnish or prime it, or it will keep curing and getting harder and more brittle). Even better, I found that it does not need to be primed: acrylic paints stick to it just fine, including contrasts and washes. The ivory resin has a pleasant color to serve as a base, and the grey resin can be used as-is in the shadows if you do zenithal priming with white.

This product is night and day better than the non 4k product. There were details in my prints that I didn’t even know were there until I used this product. I had printed the same thing using two different types of resin and the 4k was obviously superior. Make sure to shake well before use, still kind of a noob but I think it needs shaken well or it will leave a sticky residue. Picture quality isn’t great, it looks 10x better in person.

This is a great resin. Flexible enough to bend slightly without breaking before being cured. Really helps when printing and clipping supports off models. Low odor. Purchased many times.

I just recently purchased a Phrozen Sonic Mini 4K and managed to grab some Aqua 4K Grey as well (it is hard to find in Canada so had to order it here). I havent used other brands of resin yet, but so far Aqua 4K resin works great! There doesnt seem to be much shrinkage; the resin smell is relatively mild (in my opinion); print quality is fantastic and works really well at 2.5s exp @ 50um and 1.9-2s exp @ 30um layer heights. I accidentally dropped part of a model, comprised of detailed fingers/nails, from about a foot onto my desk and nothing broke. You can snap thin parts if youre not careful but the prints seem durable enough for gaming and certainly strong enough for show-pieces. Overall Im quite happy with this resin!
