> 3 daySystem was in very good condition on arrival and plays very well also. Ive always heard negative reviews for the system but Im really glad I purchased one. Im a large fan of anime-based games which are released most into the PlayStation system line.

Greater than one weekArrived in a compact box inside another box that SEEMED to be open, but the system itself came with every instruction manual/advertisement as the listing included. Although I could not read them, I have owned a PS Vita 1000 when it was first released in February 2012, and it operated mostly in the same way as the older model--in all technical operation terms--aside from the X and O button fuctionality that has been swapped while navigating the home screens. Extremely satisfied with my purchase <3

> 3 dayI love it! The color is gorgeous and its easy to set up! The menu buttons are switched so that X will close and O will open apps, but it doesnt bother me. The console isnt region-locked, so you can play Japanese games as well North American games!

> 3 dayI bought the Vita Slim since my Original Vitas audio port stopped working due to corrosion so I decided to get the this one. Regardless of its higher price, I really liked this PS Vita Slim. I will list comparisons and new additions of the Vita Slim below. -I was a bit wary of going from the OLED(Original Vitas screen) to the LCD(Vita Slims screen), but in reality there really is no major difference other than saturation differences. The Original Vitas screen had an over saturated look to it in my opinion. And from my experience from playing the original Vita, the Vita Slim actually has a SLIGHTLY sharper graphics(could be because of the over saturation in the Original Vita causing a bit of a blurry image) and no over saturation. The Vita Slim also seems to be at a lower brightness level than the Original Vita(pretty useful if youre playing in the dark). -Compared to the original Vita, the Vita Slim has significantly more accessible buttons(Start, Select, PS buttons). The buttons pop out so you dont have to dig your fingers into the buttons like before. No analog stick differences. -One thing I did notice is the speakers on the Vita Slim sound a bit less surround sound compared to the Original Vita. But sound through earphones sound equally as great to the Original Vita. -The Vita Slim also has 1 GB built into it. If you have a Memory card inserted then the 1 GB will not work, it only functions without having a memory card inserted. The 1 GB is not something too useful, but its a neat addition. -While being in the Vita Slims menu, youll notice the circle and X buttons are flipped, but not in the games. -The back touchpad have been made smaller so the issue of accidentally pressing it will not be a problem like before. But is still very responsive and in my opinion, better -One very great addition is that the battery life lasts way longer than the Original Vita. I used to have issues with the battery life with the Original Vita even though the brightness settings were all the way down. No more battery life issues with the Vita Slim since it lasts about 7 hours compared to the 4 for the Original VIta. -The Vita Slims touch screen is as responsive as ever, I think it has a slightly more responsive touch screen based on what Ive seen so far. -And the Japanese Vita Slim versions have a variety of colors, which is very cool compared to the plain old black. If its white, small scratches on it actually look less revealing compared to the black Vita. The Vita Slim is also less heavier. Hope this review helped make up your mind, I recommend it to anyone considering getting a new PS Vita. If you dont really care about the Vita Slims price, then get it. But if youre on a tight budget, then get the Original Vita, its just as great.

Greater than one weekDespite what everyone says about the screen, its really not that bad when youre actually using. It looks nice and the colors are still pretty good. So what if it isnt and OLED screen, the LCD is just as good. Also this Vita is easier to hold, the buttons feel more comfortable, and the blue and white color is really nice. Overall if youre going to get a slim, import one from Japan since you can chose multiple colors and you wont need a slim if you have the original. Well, if youre like me and have to have both, then get the slim too.

> 3 dayDont believe anyone else with the original Vita. LED isnt terrible, it shows darker textures, and doesnt make the picture look so saturated. The rear touch screen is smaller but still responds just as well. The Japanese Import Vita does have the X and O reversed on controls on main screen and during game saves, but it isnt anything to worry about. Battery life is surprisingly good (average of 4.5-5 hours atm.)
