So much fun! Took a few rounds to get the hang of, and I would recommend at least 6 people. Once we got it down we had a blast! Harder than it seems, and challenging without being frustrating.

Ive played this game and was excited to get it. However, the inflatable club has a slit in it that we discovered the first time we tried to blow it up. Very disappointing.

This game is so fun! It takes a bit to get used to using one syllable words, and the NO stick is super fun to use (obvs). You can also do a little mad lib type poem if you win with your words that is a nice touch if you are into word play. Though, my son whacked me with the NO stick the first time I read one because there are words with more than one syllable. We were like, No!, this is an extra bit just for fun! And he was like, Why? So, it’s fun and hilarious! Highly recommend!!!

Great game for anyone that knows what one syllable means.

Simple, yet extremely fun. My D&D friend group loved it. Easily our go-to party game.

We debated buying this game for awhile. It always looked appealing, but then we’d read the box and decided not to. We went to a friends house and played it and had so much fun! It can be hard to get the hang of describing something with only one syllable if you’re not great with syllables, but it was lots of fun. If you’re on the fence about getting it, I would recommend giving it a try.

We’ve played it several times and we’ve a had a few laughs a couple of times but most people thought the rules and the inflatable stick were weird. It’s an ok game, not our favorite.

Bought this game to play with family for Thanksgiving. Coming up with single syllable words is a LOT harder than you realize. And watching someone concentrate so hard just to get bopped in the face with the no stick is one of the most satisfying expressions to watch ever. I laughed a lot. I bopped my husband a good 10 times on the first round while we were getting the hang of it. It was awesome.

Poetry for Neanderthals is a family-friendly party game similar to Taboo where players earn points by getting their teammates to guess words and phrases. The catch is that the "Neanderthal Poets" are only allowed to use single syllable words. If they use any words with more than one syllable, the other team gets to bop them with a 2-foot inflatable club. The team with the most points wins!
