This game is a lot of fun and definitely frustrating. Only using one syllable words sounds easy enough, but when you actually get to playing you seem to only know multiple syllable words. This game makes a fun group game and it’s easy enough most ages can play. The best part is getting to whack your friends with the no stick every time they slip up. All around a great purchase!

Just learned this game it is so much fun. Appropriate for all ages. Easy to learn. Great game for family gatherings and parties as you will all be laughing.

Takes some getting used to but its pretty fun once you do. We have played it several times with family. My youngest just loves to whack people with the inflatable stick. Its fun to see what each person comes up with as far as clues and all.

Ill be honest, I got this because it comes with a blow up club you can hit people with. But the game itself is pretty hilarious and surprisingly difficult. I think it actually is a pretty good at explaining complex topics in simpler terms. More often than not, the people would catch themselves more than the watcher would, which often results in cursing followed by a thwap of the club.

Hubs and I played. So fun! Kids will shriek and laugh when they play. It’s a must buy for all!

Poetry for Neanderthals is deceptively simple. It is basically a team guessing game where you can only use one syllable words for hints. It is so much harder than it seems! This game is great fun for all ages (reading is required). It is easier to play with 4 or more people, but we have successfully played with 3 and rotating teams. If you have two people, there isnt anyone available to club people on the head, lol, so we havent tried that out. Its one of the few games that my teenagers (13 & 17) actually ask to play with us! The inflatable club is hilarious and things get really competitive. If you have played several times, I highly recommend the expansion pack, which gives you many, many more words to play with.

Such a fun game! My friend had it and I knew I had to get it for my sister and her friends, she has had so much fun with it! A great family and friend game! Recommend for many nights of fun!

This was so much fun. The whole family (ages 14-41) laughs so hard every time we play. We were even able to make some adaptations so we could play with our oldest child, who is away at university, over face time.
