I really like this seat. Looks like it will last a very long time. The plastic wood is the best Ive ever seen as far as looking like real wood. Id love if the manufacture made a square one with the depth being the width also. We have a large shower and this larger rectangular one fits great, but it is a bit larger than we would have needed. The offering of a square one would have been the one I bought. Since it is not available, this rectangular one is excellent.

I am using this shower stool in a standard sized tub and it has been a life saver. I wish I had this following my accident because sometimes I would just be in too much pain to stand up in the shower but definitely in need of one. I have been using this throughout my pregnancy and can confirm that it is a definite must if you have any issues standing to complete a proper shower or even if you have a lot of tired nights but still need to get in the shower and clean off before dozing off. It also comes in handy if you Have a foot care routine. It takes the strain off your back and makes taking care of your feet less of a chore and hassle. It is very good quality and cleaning is as simple as rinsing it off sometimes. Heads Up: In my tub I have found that if I lean too far to one side the stool shift sideways. I have not had an issue with it causing me causing me to fall or shifting too fast that I lose my balance but this is just something I would like to give a heads up for those who are using them in a standard sized tub. Admittedly, I dont like having to put together items, especially any sort of furniture, but I do understand how it needs to be done that way when shipping is involved. This is one of those items that I felt was worth taking a shot on because its so useful. This bench makes all the difference in the world when you need to, or find it more helpful to sit in a tub or shower when tending to ones needs. Its comfortable, not riddled with splinters, and is just the right height. Seems sturdy and is working well for me. Its water resistant so dont need to worry about mold or other water damage. I also like that it has a shelf layer below the seat. Even though I suspect that that has more to do with support, it makes it nice to use to store certain bath items.

Great shower bench - comfortable and sturdy. We had a teak one that would get moldy and require oiling. This one will hopefully be maintenance free!
