> 3 dayI have wanted a portable mini projector for a long time. 10 years at least, but they haven’t been affordable until now. This thing is absolutely amazing. First, hooking it up was breeze, we used a blu-ray player, our phone, and firestick. All worked flawlessly. The picture is really great for the price, at about 10 feet we got a 75-80” picture that was more than sufficient. We had a light source that was very close outside and still had no issues viewing. We used a cheap 3.5mm Bluetooth adapter and connected it to our JBL flip 5 for sound. The only negative at all is there is almost no sound but that’s to be expected with such a compact projector. Our family loves this and my wife can use it for her business. When we move into a house I will probably replace my TV with this!

> 3 dayThe all-white Acrojoy projector has a pleasant design. The black lens trim and focus/keystone rockers give a bit more character. The matte finish helps to prevent fingerprints and smudges. The build quality is decent enough. Although it is quite portable, I still found it to be a bit on the big side, and I am slightly disappointed that no carrying bag or pouch was included. However, I am glad that Acrojoy included a very well-made convenient tripod. Setting it up is quite easy. Just attach the tripod (if needed), plug it to a near outlet (or in my case an extension cord), turn it on, and then use the keystone and focus rockers to adjust the angle and picture. I checked it out with several devices such as my phone, iPad, Switch, and Stadia Chromecast. They all worked flawlessly through an HDMI connection. Next, I set up the Wi-Fi connection and it worked well using my Android phone and iPad, which I thought worked best. I noticed that there was some audio/video lag, but that is common with many devices, so I recommend using a dedicated streaming device such as Chromecast or Fire Stick. Also, keep in mind that most major streaming services cannot be cast directly due to copyright policies. I projected two different sizes of screens: 60” and 120” approximately. Now, this projector displays a 720p resolution natively but supports 1080p input, which most of my content was. The 60” picture looked sharp, bright, and dynamic. There was little movement blur, and the corners did not look washed out. The text was easy to read and sharp pictures looked well, with fairly decent color accuracy. I was able to keep warm lights on. On a 120” (plus) screen, sharpness and focus suffered a bit, especially on the lower edge. Brightness and color tones were not affected as much as I thought, but of course, the bigger the screen, the dimmer and less sharp the picture naturally becomes. For bigger screens, it is best to have as dark an environment as possible. The sound is loud, and the quality is decent. It is better than most laptops for sure. The remote was a welcome accessory and works well. I think this projector provides better picture quality than the professional setup at my works’ conference room and even some bars’. While it certainly does not beat any TV or monitor, especially in bright settings, I think it serves perfectly as a secondary screen on any room, presentations, and outdoor use (having a power source). I find the price is well worth it and easy to recommend.

> 3 dayThis projector is a lot of bang for the buck. For $200 I wouldnt be impressed, but at $85 its significantly better than expected. First lets start with whats good. -Picture is bright and resolution is good, though I dont think its actually 1080p as advertised. Hard to say for sure. -Remote works, controls are simple, and you can just turn it on and go, no complicated setup. -Easy manual focus and keystone correction -Included table top tripod is perfect, sturdy and easy to adjust -Wide range of inputs for easy connectivity -Speakers are plenty loud The bad: -Fan is quite loud -Keystone correction doesnt account for focus, so when using the projector tilted up or down slightly, focus will be off on either top part or bottom part of the screen. No digital keystone correction so there is no fix for this. -Samsung Dex does not work on this. It should, but it doesnt. Gives a message saying incompatible resolution. Which is what leads me to believe this projector isnt actually native 1080p. It should be as easy as connecting wirelessly through Dex, but it just doesnt work. -There are zero picture adjustments. Nothing. No color, no brightness, no contrast, nothing at all. You get what you get. Again, as for sub-$100 projectors, this one is fantastic. That being said, if you have the budget, spend a bit more and get something a bit better. But this will work in a pinch. -

> 3 dayThis.projector is a joke..it worked fine. Once. Now it wont project photos unless they are on my Screensaver. I have tried everything. ***UPDATE PLEASE READ I retract my previous review. This company is fantastic! I didnt return my projector because the return window was over. The company contacted me, apologized, and sent another projector. Im happy to report it works perfectly. Im so very impressed with this company. They stand behind their customers and their products. Wish more companies were so caring and confident in the products they are selling! Will recommend to everyone I know!

> 3 dayThis is a lower end projector that cant focus evenly. There is a manual horizontal tilt adjustment on the lens, but you cant do a keystone correction (trapezoidal correction) to make the image square on the wall or screen. Instead, with this projector you can get the image square but it will be in sharp focus on one area, and blurred in the other. The image brightness and definition is not that great, but also when you adjust the settings it doesnt hold, but keeps returning to the defaults. There are the standard HDMI and USB connections, and screen mirroring for iPhone or Android, but when we did mirroring with the iPhone, it would play YouTube, but not Netflix. Netflix would play the sound, but no video would cast to the projector. The fan is also really noisy and the audio quality wasnt too great. We have been using a projector exclusively instead of a TV for almost ten years, so have been very familiar with them. We have a Viewsonic, and it has been excellent in all the categories mentioned above. Lastly, the remote control is very finicky and often you have to press again and again for something to respond. We dont recommend.

> 3 dayI bought this to stream Xfinity or Fision Hotwire TV from my phone. Due to copywrite restrictions it doesnt allow you to watch tv from your phone through the projector screen. I didnt realize that when I bought it. However, the Company has been fantastic to work with. Great Customer service and follow up. Originally I did not fully understand how to best use the product. They helped me figure out the best way to use it and it works great with a fire stick. If you want to play standard TV through it the best way is to connect a HDMI cable from your cable box and it works great. Great Customer service still exists! Thanks

> 3 daySetting up the ACROJOY Sunspark 500W WiFi Mini Projector was very easy. There are a lot of choices both networked and wired. My husband set it up with a blu ray player to get the best possible picture. It is a nice picture, and surprising coming from a plastic projector. I can not get over how much this looks and feels like a toy. It very much resembles a projector I got for my daughter a couple of years ago, but the picture is much better and the options for connecting it much better too. You can connect via HDMI or VGA, miracast, flash drive or wireless. The projector itself, however,m is not wireless which does make it somewhat less portable. I am not sure how well it would work with a battery bank, but given my experiences with casette players, I would guess not very well. Much of the reason for my 4 star rating is how very plastic it is. My husband had sopme difficulty getting it to lock down on the tripod, and when her did he said he still did not feel like it was very sturdy, in large part becauser it is plastic. How hard do you screw it down and at what point will the case break because of the tension on it? He also could not get the audio out to work but was able to connect it via the headphone port. That does not surprise me all that much since a lot of things now use the headphone port for powered external speakers. He is a sound guy and it really bothered him that he could not use the audio out. We did get sound through the projector speakers but I have little doubt that the Polk speakers he was trying to connect would have gotten us better sound. Actually, he did manage to connect one of them via the headphone jack, but with audio out he should have been able to get stereo. The peojector is also a bit larger than I was expecting. I kept thinking of the pico projectors I sent my klids when they were away at college. We have a couple of small projectors I got around that time, and both the LG and Sony are much smaller and cost just a bit more. I have not really looked at/ shopped for projectors in a few years, but have this expectation that things keep getting smaller, lighter, less expensive. Some of that is true in this case and some not. It is actually larger than our older projectors and the build nowhere near as solid, but it is very inexpensive, has a nice picture and is easy to set up.
