22-11-2024I have been using Posca pens for a few years now and I love them. I always have purchased the fine tip but I needed something bolder for my art so I ordered these. They are great! The lines are broad, consistent, dripless and dry quickly. You will love these!

Greater than one weekI bought these markers for my girls to decorate seashells. Overall, Im pleased with the markers - the colors are bright, and the paint goes on smoothly and easily, and provides a thick, opaque coating. Unfortunately, we found that when using these to draw on shells with ridges (e.g. clams) or small surface features, the ink would often wick along the ridge/surface. Not really the fault of the pen, surface tension is just a fact of life. But, since many people by these to use on seashells/rocks, I thought I should mention it.

> 3 dayI got these after seeing some work in a Facebook group I am in for mixed media. My first impression was cool! I did have a surprise when they did not dry as expected. I think I was expecting a slight sheen like acrylic paint, but they dried flat. I gave them another try after a few days and now that I know how they work, I love them. So much control and the paint flows really nicely out of them. You have to prime them before first use by pushing the nib onto paper a few times till the paint starts to flow. I am starting to do art journaling more often and will probably have to buy more of these pretty soon.
