This training seat is awesome. My son tends to run away from the toilet in fear, but as soon as I showed him his very own potty seat he beamed and climbed to sit on it right away. It is very sturdy, my little guy is a dense 37 pounds and it doesnt budge. Its super easy to fold up and move out of the way for the adults and the only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because it doesnt quite fit my toilet. Even though my toilet fits the description of requirements, this runs into the back of the toilet before locking in. It still works ok because the front edge is on the bowl and creates a good barrier for everything to stay in the toilet where it belongs!

This is the perfect potty chair for training toddlers! Very well made, padded seat, easy to assemble, and easy to clean. Folds up when not in use. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a seat with a step to give toddlers the independence they need.

Putting this seat together was a breeze. The material is sturdy. The color was spot on. It is stable when placed on our toilet with the seat up. If the toilet seat is left down the the product does not align properly, at least with our toilet. The only reason I gave this item a 4-star rating is because of three things: 1. The splash guard is not tall enough for little boys; 2. The Velcro is a nice touch until urine gets between the foam seat and the Velcro, then the Velcro loses its sticky component and comes off of the foam cushion; and 3. The width of the seat is a bit to wide for my son who is small for his age, due to having Down syndrome. He loves this new potty and is not scared to climb up the step and sit down. But when he gets on it he feels the need to sit right near the front of the seat because he fears falling in the toilet. This is both good and bad. Good because at least he is in a position where the splash guard will keep him from peeing on me or the wall, but bad because he is not positioned in a manner that allows the urine to fall into the toilet properly which means it ends up under the foam cushion and also drips down his leg or onto the floor. Otherwise, this product has sparked interest in my son who is developmentally behind.

The ladder part is nice and sturdy. But the seat isnt supportive enough. There isnt any support on the sides and back of the actual seat. My son kept on slouching down in this seat when hed go to lean back after sitting on the toilet for awhile. Eventually hed pretty much be sliding off the front. This also resulted in almost immediate problems with the direction of the flow of pee when it came out, because of him leaning back. Now I will say he has some mild core muscle weakness, so he isnt your average kid. But he doesnt have any issues using regular chairs. So depending on your toilet size and your child, if there is a few inches of a gap between the back of the potty seat and the tank of the toilet, your child might start slouching. It is disappointing given the good reviews and paying $40 for it. It may work well for some kids. We cant use it.

My almost 2.5 year old is rocking potty training, but obviously needed help getting on the stool. Got this just a week ago and he doesn’t even need my help anymore, and he is so proud to go we’ve had no accidents all week. Even when he’s distracted by playing. Highly recommend this item to bring your child confidence and independence!

I ordered this for my independent kiddos so they could climb up on the toilet by themselves and have the handles to hold to feel safer. The seat was delivered quickly and was very easy to put together. Its great. The only issue I have is the step is slanted so far forward its difficult for the kids to step up on by themselves.

It is a “dream come true” when your child enjoys using the potty ;), and YES!!! finally my son is not afraid to sit on a toilet because of this product. THANK YOU. I m not giving a 5 star rating because it doesn’t seem to level to the floor. However it stays, and my son has no problem climbing in or sit on it. I should have bought this (type of) product long time ago when I knew my son has stopped going to a little potty seat. I totally recommend this product. Thanks again.

I was struggling so much with my 3 1/2 year old to potty train, he was scared of using the toilet because he was scare of falling since our previous potty did not have a step or something to grab onto, he hated it because he depended on us to be able to use the potty and he really like doing things on his own so, I decided to try this potty and as soon as he saw it he went straight to use it and now he goes alone and he loves it. This potty is: - Easy to assemble - Sturdy - Easy to clean - Easy to fold and unfold - Easy to use I totally recommend this potty for parents struggling to get their kids to go potty.

I really like this chair. Its very sturdy and has a wide step. The previous chair I had was similar but a much more narrow step. This caused several near falls when my children were stepping up then trying to turn around to sit down. It seems to fit more snug on the toilet seat than the other and is overall much more sturdy. My only negative is, I dont understand why the cushion seat is not one solid piece. It is a small cushion sat down in a plastic seating. Its held on with Velcro. Now potty training especially with boys is messy and this is a pee trap. It has to be taken apart and disinfected at least once or twice a week. Otherwise it is unsanitary and will cause rashy bottoms not to mention stink terribly. Ive found easiest way is to remove cushion and place whole chair in shower spray with bleach water soaking Velcro pads wipe down then rinse thourghly with water and sit it outside in the sun to dry. A regularly used potty chair I guess needs routine cleaning. This one will hold you to it. Overall I am pleased with it. It is very sturdy and I value that very highly.
