Greater than one weekVery cool product. My toddler thinks it’s fun to unfold it and place it on the toilet. It’s also sturdy and easy to clean. It’s helped him understand the concept of “potty” and teaches the motions. However, based on the build of the seat, the front half is higher up off of the toilet. My son can only use it for pooping. When he pees, it shoots out directly through the gap between the toilet and the seat and goes onto the wall.

> 3 dayMy daughter is 2 yrs old (just turned 2 in October), and she’s 34 1/4” tall. I set up the step on the lowest setting where she can easily climb up, turn around, push her pants down then sit on the seat and slide back. She does this all on her own without issue. We trained her to use the portable potty chairs on the ground for the first month and now we have her using this seat. She likes it a lot! It fits over the top of our toilet seat just fine. I don’t have to lift up the lid and the seat, it’s secure enough. It’s just a bit wobbly if my daughter is grabbing only one side while starting the climb up. Super light weight, easy to pull on and off between uses for adults to use the toilet, easy to assemble. My daughter’s feet don’t reach the step while she’s using the toilet but she does ok even like that. I’m sure we’ll be using this potty seat for some time. I would recommend this seat for sure.

> 3 dayThis is a fantastic potty seat! We started out teaching our son to sit, but with a slight design flaw, when he pees it goes between the potty seat and the toilet seat lid causing a wet mess on the step stool part. Even when I would lift the toilet seat lid, the potty seat didnt fit properly (we have a round toilet bowl, might be different with an elongated toilet bowl) As stated by a previous review, I cut off a piece of plastic from a bubble bath jug and hot glued it to the front, no more leaks!

> 3 dayI’m giving it 4 stars because it is designed well, and whoever thought that the parents of toddlers might need a couple extra connectors & a spare “key” is a certified genius. Unfortunately, it didn’t fit my toilet. Mine is even more “round” than the typical “O-shaped” toilet & has a flattened spot in the front. Which means that even though the seat itself would fit, it didn’t sit back far enough without the legs getting caught on the front. Which is a real shame because my son loved the thing as soon as I started trying to settle it on the toilet. I’ll have to go with a different one.

Greater than one weekThis has worked well for our upstairs a so we bought a second one for downstairs. it is not always easy to fold and you need to check the nuts every few days as they work loose over time. If you are willing to take the time to maintain it, its a great step and seat.

> 3 dayAfter trying every type of potty training helper (my size potty, potty seat, frog urinal) this was the only thing my son used!! His problem was being scared of the toilet and a stool wasn’t helping. With the assist of the ladder, he was going in no time. It took about a day or two to get him used to it. Easy to assemble, my 3 yo even helped it was that simple. Cleaning is a bit annoying, but that comes with the training.

Greater than one weekThe only thing I don’t like about this is you can’t fit it over an existing toilet seat, you have to raise it... and if your seat falls, because the training potty touches the hinges, it can bonk your kid in the head. Otherwise- I LOVE THIS training potty! Perfect for independent toddlers. We started training my two-year-old son using a mini Training toilet on the floor. He immediately took to it... and I immediately got tired of having to dump poop into the big toilet and Clorox the smaller one. The Mangohood folds up out of the way, and is light enough for my son to carry and open to put on the potty himself (important, because his bathroom is also the guest bathroom). The handles on the side for the child to hang onto are key. And the seat is cushy enough for little bums. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayThe ladder part is nice and sturdy. But the seat isnt supportive enough. There isnt any support on the sides and back of the actual seat. My son kept on slouching down in this seat when hed go to lean back after sitting on the toilet for awhile. Eventually hed pretty much be sliding off the front. This also resulted in almost immediate problems with the direction of the flow of pee when it came out, because of him leaning back. Now I will say he has some mild core muscle weakness, so he isnt your average kid. But he doesnt have any issues using regular chairs. So depending on your toilet size and your child, if there is a few inches of a gap between the back of the potty seat and the tank of the toilet, your child might start slouching. It is disappointing given the good reviews and paying $40 for it. It may work well for some kids. We cant use it.

> 3 dayThis thing is great but likely wont fit that well with your current seat. Buy one of these removable seats and youre good to go... And when all is done and said, youll have the added benefit of being able to sanitize the hard to reach areas. Forget the bad reviews. Installed properly the seats are stable...if you can tell one end of a screwdriver from the other that is. These should be sold as a pair.
