I have a SMALL two year old (hes been on growth medication since the month after he turned two), and every potty stool we tried to buy either was too small or not sturdy enough. I had a child who wanted to potty train but needed way more assistance than he wanted (hes the I can do it myself! boy--parents,you know what I mean!). This seat took us frol potty struggles to immediate success. He helped me build it, and he was so psyched to use it. He loves going potty on it. Hes very capable of setting it up himself, and hes learning to slide his pants down himself while standing on the little step with his back to the toilet bowl. Weve had absolutely no pee incidents with pee coming through this seat and the bowl, nor with pee spraying past the splash guard. Suddenly, mama has more time to get other things down and work with baby brother while big brother takes himself to the bathroom. I resisted buying this before for the price. I would have saved myself months of headache. Worth every penny!

This training seat is awesome. My son tends to run away from the toilet in fear, but as soon as I showed him his very own potty seat he beamed and climbed to sit on it right away. It is very sturdy, my little guy is a dense 37 pounds and it doesnt budge. Its super easy to fold up and move out of the way for the adults and the only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because it doesnt quite fit my toilet. Even though my toilet fits the description of requirements, this runs into the back of the toilet before locking in. It still works ok because the front edge is on the bowl and creates a good barrier for everything to stay in the toilet where it belongs!

This is a dope sass review. First I’d like to say that this potty is made of thick/strong plastic. The removable cushion seat is a little questionable but I’m sure they only did that to sell replacements.(a holes) It was easy AF to put together and I didn’t need tools. It comes with the white screw caps and key(see pic). Like, if you had arthritis or something you might need to get your toddler to make the last few turns. As far as sturdiness I crawled my 6’4” 300 pound butt onto the potty and had my legs propped up on it. I did not directly support all my weight on the step but it did keep me from falling into the toilet bowl as this product is used with both toilet seats up. Ignore the fake reviews. Buy this potty. 4/5 stars. If the toilet seat were plastic and heavy duty like the rest of it the potty would have easily scored 5/5.

Definitely order a replacement seat because after a while it is hard to get the smell of pee out of the seat. We love the design though. I do wish it fit on top of the toilet seat, but otherwise the design is great for our little one to be relatively independent. The best part in my opinion is that the stair is wide enough that our son can step up and safely turn around, this is definitely not the case with most of them.

My daughter had just turned two when we potty trained her, so she was a little small for most stools to get on the potty and we had to go in with her every time. This seat is great, she can move it into the toilet, get up, use the potty, then get down all by herself. The only downside is that it is a bit unsteady with the seat down, so you have to have the seat up to use it. That means Im constantly wiping the toilet to keep it clean for her after my husband uses it. But aside from that, it works great!

We have only had this product for 3 days, but my daughter loves it! She tried sitting on it before I had even finished putting it together! She is so happy with it and loves being independent. The only downside I have for it is that it isnt the right shape/size for my toilet. Our bowl seems to be a bit more rounded and not oval. The seat sits on the toilet and doesnt seem to move or wobble with my daughter climbing up on it, so it seems safe. I have definitely been keeping an eye on that. We are happy so far!

BUY THIS ONE - Not the one with pegs that adjust the height at the feet! You want this one that has a hinge down there for the feet to adjust as needed - This makes all the difference in how stable the chair is. This chair does not wobble. This has been great for my little man. He loved the bright colors and the ladder was fun for him to climb vs a step. Most notably my boy loves to be independent and this allows him to feel really stable while going on the potty all by himself.

I wish I had bought this when I first thought of potty training, my son (2) was not happy with the over potty seat and we were getting no where with potty training so o decided to give this a try and boom! He even goes to the bathroom by him self and flushes like a big boy! All he needed was the boos from having some independence in being able to get up on the toilet and get down from it. Hes happy and hes become a number one fan of potty training and goes to the bathroom even at day care he is already aware of when he has to go.

My only complaint is that there’s no guard for boys, so when they pee it goes everywhere unless they sit far back on the seat. Otherwise it’s super easy to put together and fits on the potty perfectly

We really like this step stool! Its easy enough for my 3 year old to set up and take down. He is potty trained but couldnt get on the toilet by himself. Now he can! He loves being independent and doing it himself. I like that he is safe on it and it doesnt make a mess when he uses it.
