The Power Probe is essential for sorting out electrical malfunctions of all kinds. You can search for power, ground or continuity. You can apply voltage or ground to complete a circuit. And it has a built in volt meter. It has a dual tone to alert you whether youre probing power to ground. It has bright LEDs to see in dark places. Ive made a lot of money repairing electrical systems using Power Probes over the years. The Power Probe III is the latest evolutionary step.

I LOVE this thing... makes electrical troubleshooting on a car SO much easier. Life before this was an empty, dark place... especially because I drive British cars.

Does everything I need at work

Work on automobile this really helps to find electrical problems. It even comes work 2 built in led lights to see where you are working. It comes in a hard case for storage. I had one before but not this nice.

Very reasonable worth the experience

Being a current owner of a Power Probe I (1) going strong into the 6th year of service, I thought the Power Probe 3 would make a great compaion to well this experence veteran. The madien use of this tool gave a burst of smoke and rendered itself usless within seconds. Unlike my old power probe, there is no way for the user to repair the unit when that time comes. I exchanged this product (Power Broke III (3) for a Power Probe II (2) which resembles my Power Probe I (1) and very happy with it. Power Probe 2 even feels a bit more solid then Probe I (1), believe it or not.

any shade tree mechanic to the pro should have one of these. You can do literally anything in checking your circuitry, fuses and shorts. love it
