> 3 dayThis is a great item to add to your tool box. The Power Probe I thought was just another very expensive multimeter, but this tool was a bit more than that. I found circuits with problems that I probably would have not found if I did not have this tool. Testing electrical parts in and out of the vehicles was a breeze. When the tool came everything was there clean and ready to use. The tool itself was very easy to understand and got the hang of it after a little test run. Still there are somethings that I did find not useful when I was using the Power Probe. It was a little bulky, if you are in a very tight space on the car and you do not want to take the time to remove lets say a A/C Blower the Power Probe becomes the biggest thing second to your hand. The cable would snag and tend to get caught on somethings like the doors, hood, or would happen to step on it. Still most of these things are very trivial. If your are a professional or trying to get to the the next step of professionalism I would highly recommend this product. If your the loyal hobbyist this product might be a little to much for someone that is not going to constantly use this product.

> 3 dayWhat can i say that hasn’t been said already, very useful if you deal with anything automotive or that has a 12v battery on a daily basis and mandatory if you are an auto technician.

> 3 dayI was extremely excited to get this product to start being able to do some more crafty diagnostics on equipment and was recommended this exact product by a coworker. It stayed in my toolbox for a good month before I actually needed to use it. I successfully used it twice to diagnose electric/hydraulic systems but when going to use it the third time, it seemed to give up the ghost. Ive read reviews of the probe lighting up but not displaying anything but mine wont even do that. Less than a year old and it completely died on me. I contacted customer support at PowerProbe and they said that the internal fuse must have blown and I would have to send it in for them to decide if it was covered under warranty or not and quote any repairs. I was originally told that the cost would be roughly $30-35. Upon submitting the RMA request and sending the tool in for them to inspect, I was informed that the unit was not under warranty due to being purchased through Amazon and I am on the hook to buy a new tool at a discount from Power Probe directly at a price of $105 plus the shipping that I already paid to ship the tool to their warranty department. Im extremely disappointed in this purchase and Ill probably sell the whole kit to someone else as soon as the new tool comes back in. Save yourself the headache and pain in the wallet and either buy from someone you know will provide full warranty or just skip this purchase altogether.

> 3 dayFor the past 5 years i’ve use power probres to test circuits on a daily basis. I bought this probe as a gift for a cooworker. After a month, the screen fell off, the speaker is going bad, is not as loud as it use to be, and when you feed power, the + red light or the screen will not light up anymore.

> 3 dayIf you haul trailers consistently, do yourself a favor and buy this kit. 3 of our trailers had some sort of light malfunction, and I was able to diagnose and fix all 3 in a matter of hours.
