Pro-Tec Classic Skate and Bike Helmet, Small, Gloss White

I purchased and recieved in a timely fashion. Was given to my Nephew for a Birthday gift. Once opened wed realized it was too small. Not a problem, so Id thought. Placing it back into the box w/plastic NOTHING torn or misplaced I put it back into its original shipping box, thinkin I could just replace it with one that fit him. Called them and told them my situation. They had NONE IN STOCK and did not know WHEN THEY WOULD and told me if I return it theyd charge me a 15% restocking fee UNLESS I could find something else to purchase from them then theyd give me the 100% credit. I waited it out for almost Ten working days and still NO STOCK TO SIMPLY REPLACED WHAT ID PURCHASED. They told me sorry I dont know what to tell you, once the 45/days are up we cant even return it so make your decision. OBVIOUSLY I NEEDED a helmet, which is WHY I MADE THIS PURCHASE!!! So I gave it away and purchase ANOTHER ...now assuming more cost and TIME!!! NOT PLEASED WITH THIS PURCHASE!!!!!!!! Amazon, THEYRE GREAT...LOVE EM!!! *******

Im probably not as safe as in a certified helmet, but I really like this one. For years I skated parks without helmets so Im certainly much safer now.

This was exactly what I wanted and was not able to find here in Kansas City. I have had one of these for several years and this is the best type of helmet I have been able to find. Shipping did not take very long, just a few days during the Christmas rush. Thanks!

Very light can barely tell its there

First, we measured my daughters head 2x. It said she wears a large. Nope, its too big. Then I found out I have to payalmost $9 to return it?! It had said Free Returns! Also, just so you know, this particular helmet is NOT certified. I am ordering the certified one in a medium and am praying it fits!

The helmet came in the Pro-Tec box but one of the large interior pads was not intact and would NOT adhere(stick) back in and stay. The only way the pad stays is if youre wearing the helmet. When I take it off, the pad falls out. The overall helmet quality is good, but my specific helmet was defective.

A good friend showed me the helmet to buy for true protection because he skates and after putting it on my sons head, I will never buy another kind of helmet!!! It’s complete protection and he explained to me how it should fit so for those who don’t know here it is: you put the helmet on top of the kids head and then just gently push it down. That’s how snag it should fit. If it’s wobbly, it’s not going to protect them. It’s comfortable and lightweight. Not sure I’ve hit my head in it yet but maybe that means it works. I like it

Ordered a size up for my kiddos they were fitting tight in their size XS and S so went with a medium... they’re way too big but we’re going to keep them - they’re still little and will grow into it - love Protec as a brand - my son has had skull surgery and I am very confident in the protection.
