I heard about this process from my dermatologist, but really didnt want to invest $1500 for the procedure. I found out about home kits and decided to try this one based on reviews. I followed the pen set-up instructions that were included and then I followed treatment instruction from Penny Smiths microneedling at home video on Youtube ( this tells you about how to properly clean the face, how to keep everything disinfected throughout the procedure, how to use hyloronic acid for slip, how to move the pen, how to adjust the needle depth for different areas of the face, and after care). Results: In terms of results, wow, I am really amazed that even after just one treatment I saw a reduction in acne scarring and some rosacea. I cant wait to do my next treatment and I can really see why people love this process. Others notes: I didnt use any numbing cream because I didnt have any at the time and I was eager to give this a try. I used the 16 needle tip at depth range of mostly .5 (with adjustments to .25 or .75 per the video I was following). I actually didnt find it uncomfortable so Im not going to bother with numbing cream next time either. Overall I would highly recommend this product!

Everything about this device was well thought out. The packaging is individually wrapped so you know it arrives with cleanliness as a top priority. At home procedures are nerve wracking enough. First off, this is my first experience in microneedling. I could not afford the price of going to a dermatologist, and I was not sure of the end results anyway. Decided to purchase this one because of the good reviews and how it appeared to be constructed. It comes with a good amount of needles, the pen is all metal, very solid and good weight. I had a slight problem putting the needle in but finally figured it out. For my needs I am using the 16 needle. I will say I am extremely sensitive to needles and my skin turned beet red after with the lowest setting so it will be a bit of time for me to get used to this. I dont spend much time on it when I am doing it. I think it stated 10-15 days interval for the skin to recover and build collagen which is what I want/need. Overall, pretty good quality.

The kit contains the pen and plenty of refills. Works great!
