> 3 dayHoly hell, I needed a good umbrella. I have always bought the innexpensive kind of umbrellas that were ~$10 but they would always break the second winds were over 5mph. I figured might as well buy an umbrella that was more expensive and sturdy than constantly shedding ~$10 on single-use umbrellas. I wanted something comparable to the ShedRain umbrellas but could not justify spending over $50 on them. Queue in one of my good friends who let me borrow this umbrella on a windy and rainy day, and let me just say, I was sold immediately. I tested the umbrella by holding it against the wind, towards it, and it did not buckle on me one bit... NOT ONE BIT. In fact, it was a little scary how much it wouldnt give in to the wind; I thought I was going to be like Mary Poppins for a second. Trust me on this, get yourself this umbrella. The only reason I would buy another is to get a different color because I like ~matching~ my outfits ;)

Greater than one weekPurchased two for an upcoming trip. I was looking for a large coverage area, strong construction and vented so winds won’t collapse it. This does it all! Hopefully we don’t encounter windy rain but if we do, I have no doubt these will do the trick!

Greater than one weekI bought it new for travel & packed it for my trip to Ireland where rain is common in the Fall. It’s nice-looking & appeared well made. But the umbrella really was too heavy to carry in my backpack with other necessities while hiking. The item description said it weighed 1 lb, but it felt a good bit heavier than that. After day one, I left it in the hotel room. Later, as I checked out of the hotel, since it was brand new & unused, I gave it to hotel staff suggesting a guest might need it some day, even if only to use it as a truncheon in self defense.
