I like the sturdy feel of and the compact size.

We got tired of $10 umbrellas that fell apart in the first strong windstorm, so we spent twice as much for durability...and sometimes you learn the hard way you get what you pay for. This umbrella has already proved its worth by refusing to turn inside-out in strong storms, due to its strong ribs, and clever vents that allow wind to pass through without letting rain in. Now, instead of shelling out $10 every two months for a new collapsible, compact, push-button umbrella, we save money over time by buying one $20 umbrella for the year...or longer.

This umbrella opens and closes at the push of a button. However, you have to close and fully collapse it before you can open it again. In a perfect world, the umbrella should open even if it is. not fully collapsed. That being said, this is the second umbrella I’ve had like this. The first, from another manufacturer, is impossible to fully close/collapse unless i push it down against the floor or a wall. I am able to fully close/collapse this umbrella with just my hands. I think this umbrella is too large and too heavy for travel. I keep mine in my car and it’s pretty good for that use.

I bought the umbrella in hopes it would help withstand some of the wind when it rains. It did for a short time but unfortunately inverted inside out. And was a bit disappointing. But I really like the way it pops open and closes from a flick of the button. Will still keep using it but hopefully it’s not so windy on the days I do!!!

This umbrella is a sturdy one. You can carry it in your pocket book and feel comfortable that if it is raining and windy you will stay dry
