Great meter

Ive been using it for a few months now. I use it to measure rising dump in historical buildings. It does it job flawlessly. Great tool!

As a home inspector, this tool is an absolute must have. A little on the expensive side but very versatile.

This new Survey Master Protimeter is replacing my old Survey Master that started acting up after 10 years of use in my home inspection business. The new model is bulkier than the old but is working well. Time will tell if it has the same longevity as the old model.

I have used and rented this item before making a purchase. I was quite impressed already of the previous models from Protimeter/GE. Everything works as it should. Tested this meter on older homes and older structures on suspect areas of the home for moisture. Works flawlessly. Comes with a two year warranty from the manufacturer as well.

Good meter -- I have had several of the earlier models. The only drawback is it has a rather large footprint. Probably okay for homes, but some vessels have many smaller areas. And, the pin cover dislodges easily.

Fantastic !! I like it better then the last modle. More profesional looking. My first day I sold a 32k job using it :) Found seepage all the way around a home from sprinklers .

I am a home inspector and use this meter daily. This is the best meter I have ever owner. It is very easy to use and very accurate. If your in the market for a moisture meter. Then this is the one!!!!!!!

As a home inspector I was looking for a top of the line moisture meter. After reading all the reviews I decided to spring for this product. The only negative review I read mentioned, as an aside, that the pin cap doesn’t stay put. Well, that’s an understatement. I keep it handy in my tool box but I have to replace the cap several times a day. And if I carry with me into the attic I have to constantly replace the cap. To make matters worse I am regularly sticking my hand (painfully) on the exposed pins. All this makes me wonder how such a high priced tool could miss such a simple design flaw. I mean, screw caps have been around for over a hundred years. Simple fix.
