Purpose Gentle Cleansing Bar, 6-Ounce Bars (Pack of 6)

We’ve used Purpose soap for years but it’s getting hard to find in stores. Glad we can get it from Amazon at a good price.

I have been using Purpose soap on my face and body for 30 years! It is the only soap I will use so I was very disappointed when I could no longer find it in local stores. But wouldnt you know, here it is on Amazon...yeah!!!!

Wen I was a teenager, my skin started going a little crazy (dry one day, sensitive the next, breakouts, oily phases) and after trying a bunch of stuff I finally went to a dermatologist. He told me one thing would set everything straight- Purpose Soap. And 20+ years, Im STILL using it daily. I wouldnt use any other soap on my face. Of course, now I use different lotions and potions to prevent wrinkles and signs of aging, as well as sunblock, etc. But my skin stays really clean and clear. I usually wash my face several times a day since Im outside quite a bit and I dont like leaving my face sweaty, and Purpose never dries out my skin, while it still does a great job of getting it very clean. I also use Purpose on my back/upper arms in the shower, since I started having an issue with skin allergies several years ago and all the shower gels I was using (Philosophy and Bath & Body Works) were causing irritation. Its solved all my problems. This is a GREAT soap for all types of skin, does not dry the skin out, and does a great job of removing dirt and sweat and even makeup. I cant recommend this enough. I have tried the other versions of Purpose (the liquid, gel, cream, etc.) and none of them comes close to the basic Gentle Cleansing Bar.

Love this cleansing bar! My local stores quit carrying it and I was able to replenish from Amazon. This gentle cleansing bar has kept my face clean for over 20 years. I highly recommend it for anyone who is starting out with a facial cleanser or anyone who has sensitive skin. The facial bar gives me a squeaky clean feeling. If you like a softer feeling, go with the liquid Purpose. This brand has been dermatologists tested! That was how I started it. A sample from a dermatology lab.

Like a lot of people, I have sensitive skin. I tried Dove bar soap but it leaves a film on my skin that makes me itch. Also, I cant stand its odor. After trying many soaps, I settled on Ivory which works well but leaves the skin quite dry. I was recently in Kaisers pharmacy where I saw this Purpose bar soap which was created by dermatologists for their patients with skin problems. After using a bar and finding it perfect for me, I checked on Amazon and found a larger bar which cost less per ounce. I ordered a set of 6-ounce bars which should last me quite awhile. The bottom line is that I am very pleased with Purpose Cleansing Bar soap, but I cant figure out why the name Purpose was used!

Cleans my face, leaves it smooth. No harsh or dry feeling.

I have used this product for over 30 years. It is a very, very gentle cleaning bar. After a deep facial peel this was recommended by my Dermatologist. Water stung my face, but not purpose soap. I prefer a soap to a cream for cleansing and Purpose is perfect for this. It is not at all drying. I use the larger size at home and the smaller size for travel.

Purpose soap is hard to find in regular stores, and if you do find it in a store, it is expensive. I have been using this soap for 20+ years and it is great for both men and women. The price is right on line and delivery is always quick. I recommend this soap over any other type you may use.
