Weve been struggling for years to trim our cats claws with the standard cheap trimmers that you find online and in most pet shops. These are *so* much better for two main reasons: 1) theyre sharp, so they require very little pressure to cut the nail (which the cats like better since they dont feel any tug as youre trimming), 2) theyre both thin and narrow (i.e., in both the width and the height of the blade), so theyre much easier to get behind each claw (again, which the cats like much better because they dont feel the back of the blade pushing up against their paw as youre maneuvering it in). This is one of those products where paying for higher quality makes an *enormous* difference. I cant believe we used the old style of trimmers for so long, we really struggled to get our cats to sit through trimming and these have made the job much, much easier. Thank you, Necoichi! I had never heard of your trimmers and never saw them in our pet store, Im so glad we found them.

Looked for high quality clippers to trim my cat’s nails. This one seemed to be the best I could find, perhaps bc made in Japan. Remember to cut the nail inline, not from the side. I found from underneath is best. These trimmers cut the nails very precisely and effortlessly.

My cat still hates them but theyre much sharper than Im used to and get the job done much quicker than my previous cheaper pair.

I dont know what people are complaining about ( the few that are) these are great. I think cause they are small its a little awkward to hold at first but I think they wouldnt work as well if they were bigger. My cats dont like getting their nails cut like most cats do but they handled it pretty good and cutting the nails were super easy. Absolutely no force needed and didnt need to cut into one nail twice

I bought several cheaper cat clippers before I realized these existed. They stay sharp and they dont crish my cats claws.

Its still a small battle, but I win. The scissors being small I can conceal the weapon until the last moment Being left handed is not a problem with these. Once I get her into position, I can clearly see where to cut. The cut is clean and straight across which helps the next time, as the growth sticks out from the previous cut. At the price of professional grooming, buying this is a bargain.

I like that my hand is supported while maneuvering the clippers. I have arthritis and they give me the support I need to clip quickly. Both of my senior cats appreciate a quick clip.

Very easy to use, the design makes it easy to see where claw will be clipped. Easy to squeeze, well-controlled clipping motion. No noise to startle cat. Very clean cuts - no tendency to split nail as my guillotine style clippers sometimes did. Very sharp. Only in use for about a month - I keep it handy by my chair and clip my cats’ front claws about once a week while they come to cuddle. If anything changes, I’ll update, but the quality appears to be very good and I expect they will last long and remain sharp.
