Razer Firefly Hard V2 RGB Gaming Mouse Pad: Customizable Chroma Lighting, Built-in Cable Management, Balanced Control & Speed, Non-Slip Rubber Base

I work from home (hopefully permanently) as a result of the pandemic and I love my mechanical keyboards so I first purchased a razer blackwidow elite keyboard so I could have fancy lights and everyone in the house can hear me press a button...lol. Im no PC gamer but I do enjoy premium RBG hardware so in my quest for more RGBness I picked up this mousepad. easy plug and play and with a little tweeting in Razer Synapse the lights on the mousepad glow a steady green and ripple like my keyboard when I press a button. Next purchase is a razer RGB mouse for even fancier light effects while im working for the man. if you already have Razer products with the Synapse software installed you will need to restart your computer after plugging this into your system for it to recognize it. Synapse will then likely install an update and you will need to restart once more and bingo, itle show in synapse so you can customize the RGB zones on the mousepad. if you dont have synapse you will need to install it via the instructions with the mousepad and still probably restart a couple times. Synapse is bad about needing restarts after initial install and after every single little update. Oh and of course like everything else for some reason Razer requires you create an account so they can have all your personal info for seemingly no good reason....

Nothing negative to say. Definitely feels like my mouse movements are a tad bit better since I started to use this (not by much but it is noticeable). Pairs up perfectly with my basilisk V3. The grip is also great. Ive had the issue with other mats sliding around easily. This one does not have that problem.

Replaced a V1 firefly with this, and the differences really surpass my expectations. The surface has a slight slippery feeling as your mouse slides across it, I really like it compared to the first gen which had more of a grit feel to it. Thinner and way brighter, and the cable off to the side makes it easier to manage, for those as nitpicky as me. Looks great with their higher end products.

Not much to say, the mousepad straight up just doesnt work. Whats worse is that it doesnt with WITH THEIR OWN MOUSE (Mamba Chroma wireless), despite the box saying they calibrated the surface to work with all mouse sensors. Easily a false statement, all they had to do was place the mouse on top of the mousepad to see that it failed.

I like how my mouse glides over this mouse pad. Very nice. I dont use the light too much because the computer is in my room and I dont want the light at night, but when I do use it, it adds a little bit of a nice touch. But what I really do love, again, is how it feels when I use this. Good size, too. I dont ever run out of mouse space when working or gaming. I dont love everything that Razer does, but with this product, I recommend it.

Good for the price

I don’t think this white outline along the edges is supposed to be there, but I also don’t think I would want a replacement…this product is large but awkwardly shaped for a desk I think. I will definitely be returning and looking for another option unfortunately. I am sure it works great as a mousepad but even when plugged in the lights were not turning on plus the white film on the edges…so I think I will pass on this mouse pad.

The best mouse pad my husband’s ever used. It’s very responsive and slick and stays in place. Works great with the rest of his chroma razer equipment.
