This is a hard surface mat. In case you dont know that means that accuracy is not going to be as good as a soft mat. The swiping and gliding is superb but if you are mostly a FPS player I would stick with soft mats. I used this for awhile and it is very hard to keep your reticule on an exact spot. Otherwise great build quality and great RGB customization (Razer is king of RGB)

Didnt like that there was no v1 to v2 trade up program.

I mostly play MMOs and got this as hard was suggested for them. 10/10. I also love the cable catch and light up feature. I got it lit up to match my mouse, keyboard, headset, and headset holder.

Excellent construction. Lighting works perfectly. This was an Amazon Used item. Take note, it was used. It was dirty and covered with greasy fingerprints, but hey, it was Used. Was it worth the discount? Yes.

It have only one type of surface and its all aroung in cracks after one week of using and not everyday

Razer does not currently provide their necessary software for Mac users if you want to control the lights. According to their website they have no intention of doing so. You can plug it into your Macs USB port and the RGB lighting will work but the lights will glow on a 5 color rotation and you will not have the software necessary to specify the color, glow effect(s), duration, etc. Itll just cycle through all the colors. I even tried downloading the last software they made available for Mac OS (super old) in an attempt to try to control the lighting but it did not work. Junk.

I was looking for a newer mouse pad since mine was dirty. I have 2 dogs and a cat in the house and I was tired of having animal hair stuck to my pad causing my mouse to skip and stutter during games. Enter the Firefly! The hard surface on this pad makes it a breeze to clean off. The tracking is phenomenal and I couldnt be happier. Pair that with the awesome light customization and you have a real winner. If you are looking for a solid gaming mouse pad with pretty lights then this is the pad for you!
