> 24 hourThe mouse overall feels pretty good. I love the lightness, and the small feel for my small hands. However, I really hate the button layout, and the scroll wheel. The scroll wheel is so atrociously bad, Im pretty sure a $10 mouse from Walmart would have been better. I have to scroll the wheel 15-20 times before reaching the bottom of the page. And theres so much resistance. I will say it is nice for not accidentally changing weapons in a FPS, but I definitely feel at a disadvantage in a gun fight because it takes me longer to switch weapons. Along with that, while there are 8 programmable buttons, really dont expect to be able to use the two on the opposite side of your dominate thumb, unless you completely change how you hold your hand on your mouse. I have set up the other side for random things like, tell Nvidia to record because they are so atrocious to use otherwise. The DPI change button is on the bottom of the mouse, and while thats great and all, it isnt really a quick DPI change. So definitely dont buy this mouse if thats what youre wanting. TLDR: Scroll wheel has awful resistance, really only has two buttons like a DeathAdder, Great for small hands, or hands that fatigue easy. If youre choosing between this and a Deathadder, just choose the DeathAdder.

> 24 hourPreviously I had Razer Lancehead TE, and it turned into crap also in 4 months. I need to mention that I play a lot, I record video tutorials for my youtube channel, writing some texts for reviewers and doing some other gaming-related work and thats why I game a lot. At least 60 hours a week, Im in from of my PC, gaming or writing or something else. Also, it isnt about me destroying Razer gaming mice, because before Razer, for 9 years I used only 3 gaming mice from another major manufacturer, two of them are good and working and one of those two is used by my little cousin. Now lets talk about how it turned into crap and about quality and my overall Razer experience. I ordered this mouse 4 months ago, after 2 or 3 days of use I ordered new relatively expensive feet from china and replaced the original one ASAP. They are bad, I really mean bad, if you compare them with any other major gaming mouse manufacturer - they are bad. Corners are sharp, the quality of the material is bad, you cant get a good gaming experience with them, even more, some of the other manufacturers include an extra pair of feet. Razer doesnt, also I want to mention Lancehead TE had the same problem. After 2 months of use, I started to feel that LMB is rattling, it was moving at least 2mm from right to left and back. And for 2 more months, it wasnt a big deal. Until recently that rattling and moving started feeling like you are pressing LMB. It feels like you pressed the button and nothing happens, after you realize that it moved from right to left you heard a sound, you could feel that movement with your finger but it wasnt a click, just button moving in a sideway direction. Right now Im in Europe, and I dont know what to do except just order mouse of another manufacturer. This mouse feels good, it suits my hand well, but the quality of the Razer product is just bad. I had 3 Razer mice. Mamba - I ordered it when it was released in 2009, it was crap, the scroll wheel was rattling and wobbling, that sound was disgusting, I returned it. 9 years after I ordered Lancehead TE - after 4 months of use buttons started double-clicking. I didnt send it back and kept using it as it wasnt a big deal, a few months later side rubbers started to fall off, sometime later scroll wheel started rattling and wobbling the same as it did with Mamba back in 2009. 9 years later they still didnt fix a problem. Right now Razer Viper scroll wheel and rubbers are ok, but LMB is rattling and wobbling as it was with Mamba 2009 scroll wheel. Maybe Im cursed not to order Razer products?

> 24 hourAfter going through numerous lightweight mouse on the market recently (Hati, Skoll, MM710, S2 Divina); the Razer Viper was surprisingly the best one overall, even though it isnt the lightest the lightest or heaviest of heaviest. Pros: - Minimal button wobble compared to Hati and MM710 - Least amount of pre-travel and post travel compared to the mice that I recently tried out. - The smoothness of the mouse shape, as a palm grip user 19.5 cm x 10.5 cm, the shape of the mouse is perfect. - Software is not required, since the mouse can be plug and play with the default DPI levels (400, 800, etc) - You can turn off the logo lighting (Im a minimalistic kind of man) - If youre a right hand user the right hand side buttons do not get in the way (The main reason I put off trying out this mouse) Similarly, if youre a left handed user the left hand side buttons do not get in the way either. Cons: - The mouse feet were probably the scratchiest I have encountered compared to the past mice that I tried out - The mouse switches can take a bit to get used to. - Side buttons have some pre-travel but it seems bearable. - Side buttons are more mushy compared to the other mice that I tried - One of the heavier sided mice in the horizon of the lightweight mouse market However, compared to the other lightweight mice that I tried throughout the market; the Viper has the least manufacturing difficulties, in which it has almost no button/scroll wheel wobbles, and no side flex. Thus, the Razer Viper has become my endgame for the time being in this new generation of lightweight gaming mice due to the minimalistic and stable design accompanied by the lastest sensor and switches.

> 24 hourI’veen gaming nonstop on this mouse since I got it 6 Hours ago. And lemme tell you. This mouse is literally heaven sent. It glides like no other on my mouse pad, and with the sensor it has their is not one missed movement when I move my hand. And don’t get me started on the how crisp the clicks on the L/R and side buttons are. But overall this mouse to me is a 10 and probably the best mouse I’ve ever had

> 24 hourPros: -Very ergonomic design: while there will always be the annoyance of buttons on your non-thumb side, I think that is worth making the mouse more accessible to the 12% of southpaws, and they can of course be bound to something that you use infrequently. The mouse body istelf is well sculpted, and fits even my 20+ CM hands. -Weight! This is probably the biggest reason to buy this mouse; it is extremely easy to lift and flick, making it great for FPS games and just nice overall. The cord is also very flexible. Cons: -none yet, this really is the perfect mouse for me as a left handed user, Ill update this section if any caveats arise.

> 24 hourIn my opinion, its overpriced. I could see this mouse costing at least $10 less simply because the material on the palm section of the mouse is peeling off. It is as if it wasnt layered evenly. Its not too bad and is only noticeable when the light catches it at an angle. The clicking though...wow it feels great to click, I never thought I could enjoy clicking so much.

> 24 hourI like this mouse very much, it’s light has rgb, and has a very light cord. One complaint is my to mouse buttons creak and feel mushy when pressing but other than that it’s great.

> 24 hourAlright, I bought this because I was (and still am) planning on buying the Viper Ultimate and this was my trial run with the mouse. I can say without a doubt that this mouse lives up to all the hype, even on my small ass desk and my crappy ass monitor. Its not without its faults, as sometimes I feel like Im not getting the clicks on the side mouse buttons, but thats fixed on the Viper Ultimate (if Im not mistaken). So, if youre like me and want the Ultimate, I would say get this for a trial run before spending the $100+ on the Viper Ultimate. However, if youre not like me and just want a good mouse, this will do you WONDERS. Though I do suggest getting the 8K variation, it might not be a huge difference but its always good to have that reassurance.
