I generally value Razers products. Markedly more than certain social media negative group-think regards them. And I do like this product, generally speaking. The sensor is amazing. The ergonomics are perfect for me. The consistency in the data transmission rate is vastly superior to other competitor brands. All in all, it would be a fantastic mouse. However. This is one of their flagship models, and boasts the low-latency optical switches. Unfortunately, the alternate-click switch gets stuck on, on occasion. Its an intermittent issue so very hard to demonstrate and troubleshoot, but manifests itself with enough frequency to be fairly irritating. It has also progressed with time. I discovered this within a month of purchasing it, and contacted customer support. In the past their customer support has been extremely helpful. RMAs and warranty returns have always been forthcoming and never left me with a moment of down time. Even granted an entire replacement mouse for a deathadder, whose only issue was the adhesive wearing off on the rubber thumb pad on the side. This time, after a round robin with the customer service rep, repeating myself until they finally comprehended, their solution was to have me send the mouse in, and wait... **Mouseless**... Until they shipped a replacement. I suspect that because the issue is difficult to demonstrate and present, they were suspicious that I was attempting to scam them out of free hardware. Absolutely infuriating. I did not send in the mouse. Which has continued to progressively worsen over time. Editorial note: I imagine the customer service reps reaction to closing the ticket with no response from me, after not having received the faulty product, as smug satisfaction for having saved the company from a fraudulent RMA.

Extra buttons that you can set the function of 2 on each side. Not so many as to be intrusive. Changing your Dpi and change the presets so you can change it based on the game you want to play is very helpful. The cord is very flexible and unlikely to break or be damaged by being twisted or bent. Looks like a shoelace.

Previously i was using Glorious PC gaming Race Model O(also very light). But after a month I noticed a squeaking sound starting to appear from the right mouse click if clicked repeatedly, asked for a replacement, but only got a partial refund. Fed up with these amateur pc peripheral manufacturers who do not honor their warranty. I went back to Razer, and I can say that I am very satisfied with the purchase. Very light mouse, with no weird squeaks that come from the keypresses. On top of that the light switches are very durable from my experience, though I did not sense the milliseconds of improvement advertised, though Im no e-sport fanatic. Note: I had to download razer synapse to change the DPI settings stored in the mouse, there are 5 dpi settings saved, the default is at 1800 dpi, but I like it at 1250 dpi so installed Razer Synapse 3 software changed the saves and uninstalled the software afterwards since I didnt need it after. I highly recommend this ultra light mouse, to all hand sizes. I have big hands yet I didnt feel that this mouse was awkwardly too small or anything. update 1: after 2-3 months of use the right mouse button started making a squeaking sound when I pressed on it. I had a similar issue before with the Glorious PC gaming race Model O mouse. After a few back and forth emails with customer support, they RMA it and sent me a new one within a week.

I love the ambidextrous design on this mouse combined with how lightweight it is. It might take you some time to get used to it initially - but once you adjust its a great feeling. My last mouse was a corsair brick, and started to double click which is a common issue with some mice. These are using optical switches, and so far I have not read any issues about double clicking yet. Clicks feel satisfying and have a deeper sound than a regular click. The cable is super flexible and light, combined with the Razer bungee its as if this thing is wireless (keep in mind the wireless version JUST came out today). Razer software was eh at first, since the one it loaded up would not even launch. I had to go to the razer website and download a different version and that worked. If you dont mind the Razer software, this mouse is excellent to have. Im very satisfied with this thing and will keep it..even though the wireless version just dropped today!

My husband bought me this mouse as an early christmas gift. So far I love it! The default dpi setting is perfect for me, but its so easy to change if I need to. I love being able to customize the rgb on it. It feels nice in my hand and works so smoothly! I am very happy with it!

Alright, I bought this because I was (and still am) planning on buying the Viper Ultimate and this was my trial run with the mouse. I can say without a doubt that this mouse lives up to all the hype, even on my small ass desk and my crappy ass monitor. Its not without its faults, as sometimes I feel like Im not getting the clicks on the side mouse buttons, but thats fixed on the Viper Ultimate (if Im not mistaken). So, if youre like me and want the Ultimate, I would say get this for a trial run before spending the $100+ on the Viper Ultimate. However, if youre not like me and just want a good mouse, this will do you WONDERS. Though I do suggest getting the 8K variation, it might not be a huge difference but its always good to have that reassurance.

Previously I had Razer Lancehead TE, and it turned into crap also in 4 months. I need to mention that I play a lot, I record video tutorials for my youtube channel, writing some texts for reviewers and doing some other gaming-related work and thats why I game a lot. At least 60 hours a week, Im in from of my PC, gaming or writing or something else. Also, it isnt about me destroying Razer gaming mice, because before Razer, for 9 years I used only 3 gaming mice from another major manufacturer, two of them are good and working and one of those two is used by my little cousin. Now lets talk about how it turned into crap and about quality and my overall Razer experience. I ordered this mouse 4 months ago, after 2 or 3 days of use I ordered new relatively expensive feet from china and replaced the original one ASAP. They are bad, I really mean bad, if you compare them with any other major gaming mouse manufacturer - they are bad. Corners are sharp, the quality of the material is bad, you cant get a good gaming experience with them, even more, some of the other manufacturers include an extra pair of feet. Razer doesnt, also I want to mention Lancehead TE had the same problem. After 2 months of use, I started to feel that LMB is rattling, it was moving at least 2mm from right to left and back. And for 2 more months, it wasnt a big deal. Until recently that rattling and moving started feeling like you are pressing LMB. It feels like you pressed the button and nothing happens, after you realize that it moved from right to left you heard a sound, you could feel that movement with your finger but it wasnt a click, just button moving in a sideway direction. Right now Im in Europe, and I dont know what to do except just order mouse of another manufacturer. This mouse feels good, it suits my hand well, but the quality of the Razer product is just bad. I had 3 Razer mice. Mamba - I ordered it when it was released in 2009, it was crap, the scroll wheel was rattling and wobbling, that sound was disgusting, I returned it. 9 years after I ordered Lancehead TE - after 4 months of use buttons started double-clicking. I didnt send it back and kept using it as it wasnt a big deal, a few months later side rubbers started to fall off, sometime later scroll wheel started rattling and wobbling the same as it did with Mamba back in 2009. 9 years later they still didnt fix a problem. Right now Razer Viper scroll wheel and rubbers are ok, but LMB is rattling and wobbling as it was with Mamba 2009 scroll wheel. Maybe Im cursed not to order Razer products?

Unless you have really big hands with a palm grip I think this would fit you really well , great for gaming , work or anything to be honest , one thing though I believe that you dont need a bunjee with that the wire is really light and doesnt hold you back.

Just use it as anybody would. Its a mouse, point and click. The cord is not at all stiff, quite the opposite. Thats great for me. I accidentally hit the side buttons sometimes. Its not too big a problem, but I do think the design of that feature could be improved upon.
