My computer box sits maybe 3 feet away from the mouse, and yet when running it wirelessly, I get waves of huge lag, making it unusable for gaming or most activities. Plugged in, no issues; wireless, a huge disappointment. Maybe on a laptop where the USB stick sits next to the mouse. If your computer box sits at more of a distance? Forget it.

The connection on the mouse is usb c to charge. The mouse is great its wider than my previous wireless mouse and I like it because my hands are big so my hand lay comfortably on the mouse. It goes to power saving mode really quickly but as soon as you move the mouse it turns back on and there is no lag, so as soon as you move so does the mouse cursor. My old mouse never did that I had to usually click on the mouse first before it will move. There is a software to control the lighting and the dpi but I dont really have any use for the software so I dont really bother to download it. The software can also change the use for the 3 buttons on the side if you need to change its function. Overall its a great mouse and for the price I bought it at ($40) I would say its worth it.

As stated above, this mouse is a bit confusing. What you are purchasing is M801P-RGB, not a mammoth, not a sniper, so some of the reviews do not apply. In order to take full advantage of the features you need to log on to redragonusa.com not redragon.com. You will not find the drivers on the later. In addition you will need to add software to your computer in order to use the drivers. I am not very computer savvy so I asked my wife to show me.... yes, I said wife. It was still a bit of an ordeal because the packaging states that it is a Sniper Pro. Download thise drivers and you get frustrated like I did. Once you do have the drivers you can play with the features. You can switch between the two profiles with the button on the bottom of the mouse. Something to remember, at least on my computer, once you minimize the setup menu you cannot get it back without restarting your computer. (Must be my crappy HP) The mouse is comfortable in my hand. The buttons are very responsive and easy to reach. The mouse feels very nice. I like the way you can manipulate the colors and change brightness and speed of the effects. Now the negatives, I prefer the snipers drivers because you can change to 5 different profiles. I prefer the snipers ability to better customize the buttons on the mouse; you can use it for work and play by just switching profiles. The ability to change the buttons on the M801P-RGB is severely decreased. The thing I dislike the most is the band around the box has printed Sniper Pro on it but has the nomenclature for the M801P-RGB. Is this intentional? It is certainly misleading. The booklet doesnt clear anything up either it simultaneously mention the item you purchased as a mouse in one sentence and a keyboard in the next. All in all, once I figured it all out it is a good mouse, great for certain gaming. It should add the features of the less expensive Sniper, but.... I dont work for Redragon. Lastly, I also purchased the Redragon Magic Wand Pro key board which is just a delight.... if you are in the market for a keyboard.

I like this mouse - its ergonomic and nice sized for med-large (male) hands. I bought this because my previous mouse had issues with the wheel skipping - this one seems pretty sensitive and no issues so far. Lots of buttons, I havent done much with the software yet. My only complaint is the primary left button squeaks a little. Its a minor annoyance, but Id probably buy the mouse again just because it wakes up when you move it. Ive bought mice lately where you have to click something or move the wheel for it to wake up. This one wakes up as soon as you bump it and the RGB lights up.

I like the mouse because of its design and features. The programmable buttons are easy to set. The ability to adjust dpi with a button is very nice in-game. This comes in handy for FPS games, when I want the looser mouse control for looking around and the tighter mouse control for aiming. Highly recommended. The ONLY downside is that the software interaction panel (for programming, etc.) is very small and not adjustable. I use a 65-inch monitor that is about 5 feet away from me. In order to use the panel, I have to get up and walk closer to my giant screen to read it. Otherwise, this is on my highly recommended list.

I give this a solid 4-5 stars because it was a good mouse for what it is. PROS- The material of the mouse is pretty good quality and it moves smoothly on my mouse pad. It also comes with a nice container that I use for traveling. CONS- The mouses RGB on the scroll wheel did not work unless if you were using the mouse wired with the cable it came with. Also the RGB only had one mode and the software did not work. When i clicked it was oddly squeaky and it was quite annoying until I got sound canceling headphones. overall it was a ok mouse But I would not recommend it unless you can deal with these problems.

Arrived with one of the feet placed improperly, causing it to scrape and not be level. I fixed this by sanding the tall part down, but this should have been an easy flaw to catch. The scroll wheel is also crooked and doesnt light up, despite it having the appearance of having an LED inside, so you cant see when its low on battery. Regardless, the mouse works very well for gaming and is very ergonomic. Battery life is decent, about two weeks of continuous usage and of course longer if you dont constantly use it.

I got this after a Zelotes C12 (and later a Logitech G602, but that on didnt last nearly as long or reliably as my C12, but thats a whole other review.) That C12 last me 4-6 years or so, but it was time for an upgrade. That being said, I originally bought this RedDragon Sniper with the intention of leaving it at work, but ended up taking it home and using my C12 for work. The software is many steps up from Zelotes and although its more clicks to change profiles, being able to have more than 2 is very nice. I might update to add more info later but it is a very nice mouse and a great purchase.

Bought this mouse on Amazon after the last gaming mouse I bought turned out not to be as useful as I had hoped. It doesnt quite have the same look as the first mouse I bought (I like a nice balance between function and style when I buy products), but it works way better than the last mouse I bought. It has a similar light-up feature to the previous mouse, but the design is obviously different. The light-up logo and the light-up base of the mouse is really cool. I was able to game for hours using this mouse. Plus, the fact that it has both wired and wireless setup options means that I have versatility when using it (in case battery is low, etc.). Would definitely recommend to other people.
