> 3 dayIve never liked wireless for a mouse. Ive seen one too many wheres the batteries? hunts to want to find myself at 2am with no batteries and a dead or dying mouse. With the ability to charge this while you use it, Im not so worried anymore. So I took a chance and bought it. My first impressions were that it had a nice size and weight which fit my hand fairly comfortably. USB-C to charge (very nice) and a magnetic holder for your dongle at the bottom of the mouse. Then I plugged it in. The first thing I noticed was that the logo seemed to have a dead spot in the lower-right near the bottom tip of the wing. Makes it look cheap. The light ring on the base is really nice and the color seems very even. And then I tried to get the software... The place they tell you to go for the software (redragonzone dot com) had the software for download. Easy enough. Started it up and went straight to change the color. Nope. I tried everything; plugged in, unplugged, saving the profile and loading it, restarting... the list goes on. I could NOT change the light color. Then I noticed that the image of the software GUI on the Amazon page looked nothing like what I was using so I did some browsing.. I found a different software on the other site redragonusa dot com. This one was much newer and looked exactly like the software on their product page. And it worked. I could finally change the lighting - or some of it. Just the bottom light and the logo. The DPI indicator LEDs will only light up red. Youre stuck with glaring red lights on the top of your mouse. Next the scroll wheel which only lights to show the charge level when its plugged in and then only in red(ish) to green even though their own images make it look changeable. Also, when charging, the base light will not show your personal color choice until its fully charged. I was glad to see that I could have my color while plugged in except now there is a great big glowing green wheel!! WTH? So now my mouse has a blue base (matching every single thing with LEDs attached to my computer) 3 glowing red lights and a giant bright green one. Esthetically, this thing kinda sucks - unless your chosen colors are green, red or some combination of the two. I was stuck trying to figure out the difference between Eco and Off since there are no lights in either mode even when using the mouse except those stupid red DPI indicators. Otherwise the mouse seemed to work either way. Turns out the Off switch only turns it OFF when its not plugged in. Good to know. My final opinion is that this mouse works very well and does the job. Battery life seems fairly good so thats a plus. Its very smooth, the buttons feel great with the left click being a bit tighter than the right click and I really like it. The LEDs though make me sad. It could have been so nice. I get saving battery life so no wheel when unplugged. But why does it HAVE to be green when charged? Why cant we change the color to have it match or at least dim it? I know it seems so small but some of us are going for a look here. But in the end, its a solid mouse that I will probably not use very often. Time will tell.

> 3 dayThis is my second Redragon gaming mouse. Ive used the Perdition MMO mouse for many years and was always pleased with its performance, however I found using a device with fewer buttons better for different game styles, notable FPS games. Im an older gamer whos hands arent as nimble as they were when I was young and the SNES was groundbreaking. This is a very comfortable mouse. There are places to rest your thumb and ring finger, the side buttons are very well placed in reach of your thumb, and much like my trusty Perdition, theres a small button to the top left of the LMB, nicely within reach and perfect for binding certain in-game actions, but not others. One of the side buttons works better for jumping because you can still shoot while jumping. It has a rechargeable internal battery which charges thru a USB-C port. Luckily you can use the mouse wired to your PC while charging. After some research and tweaking, I was able to make the Sniper work on my PS4, a notoriously peripheral-unfriendly console. You cannot simply plug & play unless your game has native keyboard/mouse support, and not many do. What I did was this: I have an older Tuact Venom peripheral, consisting of a mouse, wand, and hub. The Venom mouse died, so I connected the Sniper Pro wireless dongle to the hub. In the Sniper software AND the Venom software, bind the side buttons to the same keys (Space, R, E, C) IN BOTH software. Then connect the Tuact hub to the PS4 (flip the switch to PS, connect the controller and turn on) and it works. For best results, use a hardware setup specifically designed for console use. There are some cons. First, the software is tricky to get. Ignore the manual, Google redragon m801p-rgb or redragon sniper pro and make damn sure the software/drivers you install say SNIPER PRO. No other Redragon software will work. It took me 3 tries to get the correct software. You CANNOT set the LED color of the scroll wheel. It stays green no matter what you do, until your battery starts to drain. This is your battery indicator. I like a red color scheme to my peripherals and this displeases me. Second con is the storage slot for the wireless dongle renders the mouse useless. It lifts the mouse just enough so that the optical sensor doesnt register movement. Youll have to find some place to store the dongle so that it doesnt become a cat toy. Overall, a very pleasing gaming mouse for a good price from a reliable company.

> 3 dayI have a stockpile of these mice in their wired form, because I love them. I bought this one for use in my WFH setup, and when I go into the office. It is a great thing.

> 3 dayI like this mouse - its ergonomic and nice sized for med-large (male) hands. I bought this because my previous mouse had issues with the wheel skipping - this one seems pretty sensitive and no issues so far. Lots of buttons, I havent done much with the software yet. My only complaint is the primary left button squeaks a little. Its a minor annoyance, but Id probably buy the mouse again just because it wakes up when you move it. Ive bought mice lately where you have to click something or move the wheel for it to wake up. This one wakes up as soon as you bump it and the RGB lights up.

> 3 dayIf you turn off the RGB these things will last days even if those days are spent gaming. The fire key that they have. I have no idea if you could get banned from a online game using that for example. If you set any gun to single fire (if the game allows it) it will burst shoot 2 bullets. if you press the button over and over again as if you where shooting a pistol as fast as you can, it will shoot at a automatic rate. in games like PUBG this is definitely a advantage.

> 3 dayFirst and foremost, the reason for only 3 stars is it lasted about 8 months before it started to disconnect itself from my laptop. I would go into devices, remove the mouse, then unplug it and plug it back in. It would work for about another day or two and then I would do the same thing. An annoyance, but something I can deal with. The disconnects became more and more frequent, and at about 9 months it stopped connecting altogether. For $40 I was hoping to get a little longer out of it, as Ive had Logitechs last me several years for the same price, albeit with less functionality. That being said, the fit in my hand is perfect, I love the weight (not too heavy but not super light), and I loved the functionality of the included programming app. I could switch between my work profile (where I use some buttons such as shft, ctrl, and entr for CAD programs, to a gaming profile where I would use fire and macros. The LEDs are cool but they kill the battery pretty quick, so I preferred the eco mode (which is just part of the on switch at the bottom). On eco, the battery would last upwards of two or three weeks of heavy use (8hrs a day for work) All in all, I am writing this review because after looking through Amazon, I really believe it is one of the best mice for the price, and Im about to buy another one. I hope it lasts a little longer!

> 3 dayThis is a big mouse, but it has so many features for gaming, if you are used to a smaller mouse this is not for you as it will take a while to get used to it. However over all this is an awesome mouse.

Greater than one weekHad one for a year and a half, I broke the scroll wheel (my own fault) - got a logitec, and Im returning the logitec for another one of these. Ill keep this short. First the bad - The battery life isnt that great, but it does charge quickly. Also the scroll wheel feels cheap. I would happily pay 10 dollars more to have some weight added to the scroll wheel and the bearing or whatever in to be upgraded. Outside of that I love the way this feels in my larger hand. I dont care about the RGB and I keep mine in eco mode.

> 3 dayIve primarily used a compact, no frills wireless mouse for the past few years. So my review is not sitting on a ton of experience with programmable features, dpi settings, etc. With that said, the feel of this mouse has been great. I dont have huge hands, but kinda long fingers. How my hand sits with this mouse feels comfortable. The additional programmable buttons are all comfortable to reach and I havent accidently hit one yet. The light-up feature is nice. It does turn off after ~10-20 seconds of no movement. The wheel only lights up when plugged in/charging. Although that is out-of-the-box functionality. I havent downloaded the software yet to see if you can change this. The software is only for Windows, which is a challenge for me but not for most. Also I think once configured, it will maintain those settings when plugged into a Mac (from what I read in other reviews) - but havent tried this myself. I didnt think dpi settings would matter much, but I actually really like the ability to easily change this based on the task Im performing/preference - either working on a never-ending spreadsheet or gaming once in a while. I dont experience any noticeable lag when using wirelessly. Havent used it while plugged in. The wireless feature was a major requirement for me. So far, battery life seems good. I do tend to turn it off when Im done for the day, and its lasted about a week and a half so far.

Greater than one weekAbsolutely preem. It works and feels better than my older and more expensive Logitech, and it has a proper charge port. Enough said.
