I dont game with it, so cant comment about that. But I find it a very comfortable mouse, the lights are fun, and the battery is quite long lasting. The accompanying USB cord can both give power and send connection signal, so even when the batterys gone out it just becomes like a regular corded mouse and you can unplug it again after 30 or 40 minutes. I like that the wireless action is in a USB receiver instead of Bluetooth. Bluetooth connections are a pain to set up. If I had one complaint its that the USB receiver does not fit flush inside the compartment on the mouse, so you cant use the mouse with the cord while the receiver is put away.

Edit 2022: I bought a second one. I had bluetooth mouse, and others, but this one has the right height for my hand and it just works. Plus, it looks nice and the battery is still good on my old one. When I used it a while, I love it. Like a good steering wheel on your car, it becomes yours. I put this on my laptop and put the old one on my work laptop, then 15 min later, I put my old mouse back to my own laptop. Because it felt right. Im buying another one, just incase mine dies. Previous review: I have 8 wireless mouse, best being the $10 TECKNET I bought a long time ago. The thing is, this mouse is very good. The software that you download is good, battery charging is good, its made well with nice materials. But for some reason, this mouse wants me to constantly clicking on the right button. I think its because of the ergonomics. I wish the back half was raised little higher. I have normal hands. Other than that, Im using it. The light is amazing -- matches my laptop. Also, when you charge, the scroll wheel shows you red, yellow, blue to show if its charged or not. Also, the bottom led shows red scrolling when charging. Everything is great, performance is dead-on, but the ergonomics can improve.

My wife purchased this as an anniversary present and was really proud that she picked one out from a short list of ones I had shown interest in. The problem with my mouse is that the optical sensor seems to be bad. I used it for just barely over 1 month and now the mouse is unusable. The cursor skips and stutters making it impossible play games or even scroll a webpage. The initial presentation was fixable by picking up the mouse and then bringing it back down to the pad, but after just a few days of doing that the sensor got even worse and now it will not go more than 2 mins without completely messing up and making it impossible to use the mouse due to the cursor moving all over the screen or simply freezing and not registering movement. This is unfortunate because, in general it feels good in the hand. The battery doesnt last a more than a 2-3 days of gaming from what I found, but it can be used while charging so not the best but not the worst battery setup. Unfortunately the good points are rendered useless due to the bad optical sensor that makes the mouse unusable.

I always swear by Logitech devices, but I was looking for a new mouse that didnt cost too much and that used a rechargeable battery. I came across this one on a few Top 10 gaming mice lists. This is definitely the first mouse Id recommend to others along side the G600. Good size, good amount of buttons, can be used wired or wireless, plus it comes with a slot on the bottom of the mouse to store the usb receiver. I love the lighting on the base of the mouse, makes for a cool effect. My mouse also came with a suitable case. You might want to spend an extra $12 or so for a proper case, but Im fine with using the one that it came in. I did end up buying a different Reddragon mouse because I needed a few more side buttons to be comfortable with, but I think most people will be more than happy with 9 buttons and two modes to swap between.

Up to now, Id only used big brand name mouses like LogiTech and Microsoft ones. But after my 2nd Logitech mouse giving me the accursed double-click problem, Id had enough and ventured out. This mouse was highly rated, so I gave it a try. It feels great in hand. Its slightly larger in size than others, but in a good way. I feel like I can get a good grip on it. The Left & Right click buttons have a nice but easy click to them and minimal travel distance. The 3 thumb buttons have a bit more travel and feel a little more mushy, but still good enough for their use. There is a 4th button next to the Left click button that is also very crisp with low travel, and Im still getting used to it being in that spot, but its working out fine. There are 2 buttons on the top that increase/decrease the DPI/speed of the mouse travel, but I dont really use them. They could be set to some other function, but I simply have not done it. You can set the buttons to other keystrokes using the small software driver that you download. Its fast, easy, simple. No complains. I didnt even use the software for the first few days, as I used the mouse right out of the box. Only later did I want to change my buttons to other settings. You can use the mouse plugged into a USB-C cord, or not plugged in at all. So even if your battery runs low during a game you can jam a cable in and keep going, no problem. The side grooves where you hold it are angled. This was new to me. So my thumb rests on a ledge at the button, and as you squeeze inward to hold the mouse youll find it buries itself into a groove. At first this felt weird, but now I see how its meant to help your thumb wedge in and hold in place. There is a similar but shallower case on the other side where your pinky & ring finger go, though the 2 fingers rest on different edges of the mouse. Again, different, but I got used to it just fine. The mouse has 2 modes, normal and economy. Normal mode makes the mouse light up with LEDs and look like something from Star Trek. But with a simple flip of a switch you can turn the lights off into economy mode and presumably the batter lasts even longer. I use economy exclusively, as I dont care about lights on my mouse. But Im sure many would think its super kool. Been using it for about 2 weeks, and Im loving it!

Battery life is good for the price Im a sucker long battery life. Maybe I am not used to it but the style of setup is a struggle for fast clicking while gaming. There are subfield of buttons you can program but in game settings it will not let me set up more than one of the side buttons for use

Honestly when I first bought this mouse I wasnt expecting much; especially for the great price. Ive had this mouse for almost a year now and its still going strong! Decent capabilities and lighting. Considering the other great reviews, I think this mouse speaks for itself. However, there are a few things I think potential buyers should keep in mind: - Battery life (IMO) could be better. This is my first experience with a wireless/rechargeable mouse so I have nothing to compare it too. Use w/o RBG is about ~1 week without a recharge where use w/ RGB probably needs to be charged 2-3x/week - The USB transmitter is VERY sensitive. To the point that I cannot plug a USB stick in the adjacent port or else the mouse signal just doesnt work :/ . If you buy this plan on using the receiver make sure its not in the back of the PC b/c all those connections will make the mouse not work.

Overall, its a nice mouse, however, there are some minor issues with the aesthetics. Pros: Fits hand nicely. Its a good size and has solid materials Bottom LED trim looks sexy Software options are pretty solid for a mouse in the $40 range. It even has Macro capabilities The mouse goes to sleep automatically The DPI options are insane Has a plethora of configurable buttons Cons: Cant have the lights glow any desired color when connected via wire. Either lights off or see the charging indication lights The LEDs for the trim look nice, but the LEDs for the dragon logo are very dim and dont match any selected color via the software. It looks terrible. I just turned that specific light off There is an RGB LED within the scroll wheel, yet it always stays off and you cant turn it on or adjust its color in the software. The only time it is used is when you are charging it. This seems like a major manufacturing mess up imo

I got this after a Zelotes C12 (and later a Logitech G602, but that on didnt last nearly as long or reliably as my C12, but thats a whole other review.) That C12 last me 4-6 years or so, but it was time for an upgrade. That being said, I originally bought this RedDragon Sniper with the intention of leaving it at work, but ended up taking it home and using my C12 for work. The software is many steps up from Zelotes and although its more clicks to change profiles, being able to have more than 2 is very nice. I might update to add more info later but it is a very nice mouse and a great purchase.

First and foremost, the reason for only 3 stars is it lasted about 8 months before it started to disconnect itself from my laptop. I would go into devices, remove the mouse, then unplug it and plug it back in. It would work for about another day or two and then I would do the same thing. An annoyance, but something I can deal with. The disconnects became more and more frequent, and at about 9 months it stopped connecting altogether. For $40 I was hoping to get a little longer out of it, as Ive had Logitechs last me several years for the same price, albeit with less functionality. That being said, the fit in my hand is perfect, I love the weight (not too heavy but not super light), and I loved the functionality of the included programming app. I could switch between my work profile (where I use some buttons such as shft, ctrl, and entr for CAD programs, to a gaming profile where I would use fire and macros. The LEDs are cool but they kill the battery pretty quick, so I preferred the eco mode (which is just part of the on switch at the bottom). On eco, the battery would last upwards of two or three weeks of heavy use (8hrs a day for work) All in all, I am writing this review because after looking through Amazon, I really believe it is one of the best mice for the price, and Im about to buy another one. I hope it lasts a little longer!
