> 3 dayIve had this mouse for 2 years now and I love it! Its comfy, the battery life is good, and its overall a good mouse for its price. The only problem I have with it is the on and off switch. After using it for so long, I can barly turn it on sometimes but can almost never turn it off without using some kind of sharp object and its its just getting annoying. I could always use the cord for it, but if its wireless, im going to take advantge of that.

> 3 dayI am always buying and trying different mice because I trade the stock market. I hate a mouse that the weight of my finger causes an accidental click because Im always randomly buying into a position in a stock I dont want to be in and it always causes me to lose money. Half the time I dont even know it unless I have the volume turned up on my laptop and I heard the order filled sound. I ordered a Logitech G603 and got it in the mail several days ago as well but i still got accidental clicks with it because the buttons were too easy to press. Not what I wanted. This sniper pro is perfect. I have to purposefully click it to get a click. I can hear the clicks which I also like. Its super cool looking, and much more comfortable than any other mouse Ive had. Its on the larger side for my small man hands which I like as it helps keep my fingers off whatever surface Im using it on. I dont like my pinky finger getting drug around all the time. I wish I could change the color on the scroll wheel though as its green and I dont like green. I can live with it though as I still really like this mouse. I havent used it for gaming so cant comment on that.

> 3 dayI really like this mouse. The software is garbage but the mouse itself works great and its not loud unlike other mouses. I use it to play Neverwinter, Divinity and Baldurs Gate III. The battery life is great. I fully charged it last week and its still going strong without a charge. Update: After a year and few months its still better than most top tier nice! Im actually looking to buy something new from reddragon. Too bad they havent made a new mouse although I have to admit the M801 is literally PERFECT! Its better than then Razers Orochi which is battery operated! Con: Too bad the software is basically none existent since it really sucks!

> 3 dayAs stated above, this mouse is a bit confusing. What you are purchasing is M801P-RGB, not a mammoth, not a sniper, so some of the reviews do not apply. In order to take full advantage of the features you need to log on to redragonusa.com not redragon.com. You will not find the drivers on the later. In addition you will need to add software to your computer in order to use the drivers. I am not very computer savvy so I asked my wife to show me.... yes, I said wife. It was still a bit of an ordeal because the packaging states that it is a Sniper Pro. Download thise drivers and you get frustrated like I did. Once you do have the drivers you can play with the features. You can switch between the two profiles with the button on the bottom of the mouse. Something to remember, at least on my computer, once you minimize the setup menu you cannot get it back without restarting your computer. (Must be my crappy HP) The mouse is comfortable in my hand. The buttons are very responsive and easy to reach. The mouse feels very nice. I like the way you can manipulate the colors and change brightness and speed of the effects. Now the negatives, I prefer the snipers drivers because you can change to 5 different profiles. I prefer the snipers ability to better customize the buttons on the mouse; you can use it for work and play by just switching profiles. The ability to change the buttons on the M801P-RGB is severely decreased. The thing I dislike the most is the band around the box has printed Sniper Pro on it but has the nomenclature for the M801P-RGB. Is this intentional? It is certainly misleading. The booklet doesnt clear anything up either it simultaneously mention the item you purchased as a mouse in one sentence and a keyboard in the next. All in all, once I figured it all out it is a good mouse, great for certain gaming. It should add the features of the less expensive Sniper, but.... I dont work for Redragon. Lastly, I also purchased the Redragon Magic Wand Pro key board which is just a delight.... if you are in the market for a keyboard.

Greater than one weekUp to now, Id only used big brand name mouses like LogiTech and Microsoft ones. But after my 2nd Logitech mouse giving me the accursed double-click problem, Id had enough and ventured out. This mouse was highly rated, so I gave it a try. It feels great in hand. Its slightly larger in size than others, but in a good way. I feel like I can get a good grip on it. The Left & Right click buttons have a nice but easy click to them and minimal travel distance. The 3 thumb buttons have a bit more travel and feel a little more mushy, but still good enough for their use. There is a 4th button next to the Left click button that is also very crisp with low travel, and Im still getting used to it being in that spot, but its working out fine. There are 2 buttons on the top that increase/decrease the DPI/speed of the mouse travel, but I dont really use them. They could be set to some other function, but I simply have not done it. You can set the buttons to other keystrokes using the small software driver that you download. Its fast, easy, simple. No complains. I didnt even use the software for the first few days, as I used the mouse right out of the box. Only later did I want to change my buttons to other settings. You can use the mouse plugged into a USB-C cord, or not plugged in at all. So even if your battery runs low during a game you can jam a cable in and keep going, no problem. The side grooves where you hold it are angled. This was new to me. So my thumb rests on a ledge at the button, and as you squeeze inward to hold the mouse youll find it buries itself into a groove. At first this felt weird, but now I see how its meant to help your thumb wedge in and hold in place. There is a similar but shallower case on the other side where your pinky & ring finger go, though the 2 fingers rest on different edges of the mouse. Again, different, but I got used to it just fine. The mouse has 2 modes, normal and economy. Normal mode makes the mouse light up with LEDs and look like something from Star Trek. But with a simple flip of a switch you can turn the lights off into economy mode and presumably the batter lasts even longer. I use economy exclusively, as I dont care about lights on my mouse. But Im sure many would think its super kool. Been using it for about 2 weeks, and Im loving it!

> 3 dayTL:DR it’s lovely, hooks up well, problems with finding download, fixed This mouse fits my hand very well, I am a woman with medium-sized hands and I could reach al buttons easily. I use a claw grip mostly. The only issue I had was in downloading the software. I could not find the M801 Sniper (which I received) only the M801 Mammoth. The problem lay in going to the website listed in the little booklet it came with, which said to go to “redragonzone.com” - don’t! The box it comes in also has information on a sticker which tells you to go to “redragonusa.com” (if you are in the US obviously). This is where you will find your product to download the proper software. It was a breeze to set up the keybindings then!

> 3 dayi have a fairly large hand, and it fit neatly to it, people with small hand might like it smaller. i can feel the speed of it, the really increase my win rate, and you can change the speed of it too. it came with 1 wire to connect with with the pc and to charge at the same time. update: after a year of using it, still work fine, but if u want a texure mouse pad it might be a problem, the mouse will stop at certain part of the mouse pad cuz the it have fairly bad optical tracking. highly contract like red and green is ok but it have problem when tracking gradient like blue gray to light blue.

> 3 dayI have a Red Dragon one handed Keyboard and it too is high quality, like this mouse. From looking at the photos, it seemed like the mouse would feel cheap in the hand for the price. It doesnt. It has a sturdy feel and a soft veneer that feels fantastic in the hand. It is a little large so you might not like it if you have small hands but it is very ergonomic and comfortable once you get used to the large size I love all the extra buttons. The three side buttons are a nice touch as is the smaller button on the left mouse key although it is a little hard to hit at times, its good for lesser used key bindings. I also love the DPI adjuster and the software is really great for adjusting it! You can set each of the five DPI settings to whatever you want and switch in game easily. So in Red Dead 2, I can easily switch to a lower, more accurate DPI when I am in gun battles and every shot is an easy head shot! The keys dont have their own bindings and will need to be programmed into the keyboard but it really isnt that big of a deal for me since I just bind them to obscure keys. Red Dead has an absurd amount of actions to bind to keys and I had plenty left over after every action had its own binding. You can also create profiles with specific settings if you want. Also, there are two modes that can be changed on a button below the mouse, which basically are unique profiles. So you have two separate profiles at all times with the press of a button I was noticing some stuttering with the mouse but it seemed to go away when I lower the polling rate. Also, the RGB lights are really cool and beautiful looking. I kind of thought this would look tacky and dumb but I actually love the way it looks. My only negative is that the scroll wheel is advertised to light up but it wont for some reason. It is a little disappointing but I wont send it back for that and, at 50 dollars, I think this mouse far exceeds its price value by a mile so I wont drop any stars for that. I would for sure say, get this mouse first before you buy a more expensive one because it seems to me like it is extremely high quality for the price! The only reason you might not want it is if you have small hands and dont want a larger mouse.

> 3 dayMy wife purchased this as an anniversary present and was really proud that she picked one out from a short list of ones I had shown interest in. The problem with my mouse is that the optical sensor seems to be bad. I used it for just barely over 1 month and now the mouse is unusable. The cursor skips and stutters making it impossible play games or even scroll a webpage. The initial presentation was fixable by picking up the mouse and then bringing it back down to the pad, but after just a few days of doing that the sensor got even worse and now it will not go more than 2 mins without completely messing up and making it impossible to use the mouse due to the cursor moving all over the screen or simply freezing and not registering movement. This is unfortunate because, in general it feels good in the hand. The battery doesnt last a more than a 2-3 days of gaming from what I found, but it can be used while charging so not the best but not the worst battery setup. Unfortunately the good points are rendered useless due to the bad optical sensor that makes the mouse unusable.
