My husband and I played the base game with a couple of friends many times, and we all really loved it. We ended up buying the two expansions and love it even more now. Highly recommend!

I recently purchased this game because I liked the theme and worker placement mechanic. After having played it through once, I was not disappointed. One of the things I liked most about the game is how you can customize your viking crew. This added a fun element as certain crew members provided advantages depending on your strategy. There are many crew options. It also made raiding challenging because you have to consider which crew members you are willing to lose to further your goals. The worker placement element was fun because of the dual action turns: place a worker-take an action and pick up an existing worker-take an action. The components are great: The real metal coins were a great bonus!

This game is so fun! It is a worker placement game, but random enough to make it fun to play over and over. There are expansions too for when you want to change it up.

Overall not as fun as we had hoped. It is a different take on a worker placement style game. In the end we find that it is not one of our favorites, but still decent enough to keep for game nights when the family comes over.

Really fun game. Decent quality components. Easy to learn. Amazon shipping odd getting worse and worse though. The shipping box was damaged as was every item in the box.

I think this game is a good blend of strategy and luck. I would like to try an expansion to add some depth.

Me and my wife love this game so much we bought expansions for it shortly after. The board is beautiful, the pieces are amazing, and the game play is enjoyable. This is a great 2 player game and works great with more as well.

Very good game. Worker placement with collection to pay for viking raids. Played it today with one other person it was really great. I would like to play it again with more players and see how it works. I have already kickstarted the 2 expansions for this game.

An excellent worker placement game that was well received by a non-gamer audience. Easy to teach and one of the new players said it reminded him of a video game.
