In all honesty I haven’t had the opportunity to see how it fares on a windy day, and that’s the reason I bought it. I based it on the sturdiness of other umbrellas I have had. One thing I don’t care for is how fast it opens and closes. It shoots open with a snap. Watch your fingers! That’s the reason I gave it four stars.

Great umbrella for the price but did not last 2 windy days. It flipped backwards and I flipped it back to normal but a day later it flipped completely in reverse. 3 stars because the size was good but very weak through light windy rain.

Who is nice to have an umbrella? That looks so nice, fold it up so small and I also was just tough to handle the rain and winds here in Alabama.

Ive owned many travel size umbrella and this by far the best one. Ill probably not look for another and just by more when needed. It is very well made! Very confident in a bad windy storm with this umbrella.

I loved the look and quality of this umbrella. However, it was too heavy and the handle was not balanced in a way that made it easy to carry once opened. Too much weight concentrated on a small dense handle. Needed a lighter weight, more open convenient handle.

I really enjoy the sturdiness of the this umbrella. It cost more than I would have like to spent, but in the long run I believe its well worth it. You get what you pay for. Buy the cheap umbrellas and they fold up during high winds. This one can take the wind and maintain its shape. Highly recommend.
