> 24 hourPerfect for my daughter! We have grown milk weed to attract monarchs. The net is the perfect size to bring indoors to watch the caterpillar to monarch life cycle.

> 24 hourbought this for my nephews in 2019. pleased with the size and easy access. the biggest problem is that the mesh is so tightly woven (good for keeping tiny, baby caterpillars in) it makes it very difficult to watch the process. i have the habitat from insect lore and am perhaps spoiled with the ease of viewing through the mesh and clear plastic top. i will be reordering the insect lore version now that mine has so many holes from the many years of use. the mesh eventually wears out and we have had multiple escapes even with the repairs weve made. if the mesh wasnt so tight or even if this had the clear plastic top, id totally be on board with this item. bummer, because the quality of the product is great.

> 24 hourThe butterfly habitat arrived promptly and was immediately put to use raising Monarch butterflies. It is spacious and easily accessed. Cleaning is a breeze since the entire top unzips. Winter storage will be easy since the entire habitat collapses to the size of a paper plate!

> 24 hourOrdered in the Spring and didnt get a chance to use this this year. I was just putting summer items away for the winter and realized that the opening on the side for your hand has no zipper! Missed my window to return!

> 24 hourPerfect for our Monarch butterfly project this fall. Easy to access and change out the leaves as well as clean the bottom. Grab a Monarch butterfly book to go along with it but it does give you some directions. It will make a good habitat next year too. Easy to make compact for storage. Its a net, so be careful with it, but it is more than sturdy enough for it’s use.

> 24 hourThis was exactly what I was looking for to place my caterpillars in, once they formed into their chrysalis stage. The cage/net is perfect for my Kindergartners to see without touching. Once they emerged as butterflies, the kids could see the butterflies up close. Easy to clean and have for next year. Thank you!!

> 24 hourThis is a perfect little habitat for caterpillars to tent & build their cocoons & for your little naturalists to observe butterflies or other insects or reptiles. It will help them learn to keep a respectful distance from their temporary pets. I buy these for my grandkids every summer so they can watch the Monarch caterpillars they collect morph into butterflies & then release them It’s a very educational project. The habitat is a nice large size & very durable, but please remember it is made of netting & if treated with care should last several months. Ours last close to a year & then need to be replaced.
