> 3 dayThe new rules are relatively simple to learn once youve grasped the basic rules. Overall, the very next set you should buy after the base set in terms of game altering mechanics.

> 3 dayI had never played this game before. Heard it was fun and bought it. It is now our go-to game for 2-4 people. One of the few games that is just as fun with two people. Once you learn the game, it is fast to setup and play. The variety of cards keep it interesting. I recommend this to everyone.

> 3 dayI Love it! Brings more depth to the game. Colony and platinum definitely make games longer and more interesting. I highly recommend this one!

> 3 dayIt raises the power ceiling of Dominion by adding new key treasure and victory cards. Its really fun but the new cards are definitely powerful. More about power plays instead of finesse combos. Must have.

> 3 dayProsperity is a great addition to Dominion, which is already my familys favorite game. General Dominion Review: We have introduced all of our friends and family to Dominion, and almost without fail everyone has liked it. It plays well with two people, but really excels when played with 3-5 (weve played with up to 7, which was fine but not the best way to play). I think there are two key things that make it great: 1- Variability through the use of the many different kingdom cards. Different combinations of cards change the strategy required from game to game, as does the strategy of your opponents. You can play with Attack cards for those that like more conflict in their games, go with the big money cards for those that like accumulating points, use intricate card combinations for those that like even more strategy, or pick a collection of them all. 2- Unlike Settlers of Catan (which we also really like), once you learn the Kingdom cards there is almost no down time between your turns. The action is constant. This keeps everyone engaged and games go faster as well (~30 minutes for experienced players, but varies depending on cards used). Prosperity Specific Review: If you like Dominion, get Prosperity. For the larger Victory Point and Treasure cards alone, it would probably be worth it. However, it also brings a lot of other good new cards to the game. We dont usually play Attack heavy games, we tend more towards the big money hands and strategies, and its perfect for that. There are definitely cards here for everyone though. Its probably our favorite expansion weve used.

03-06-2025Dominion was one of the most innovated games I have played in quite a long time, and had sense been known as the grand daddy of Deck Builders. So what can be done to make the game even better you ask? well, that is an easy one MORE MONEY, and that is exactly what Prosperity does. Prosperity adds another form of currency (Platinum), and a larger Victory point card (Colony). The other action cards also have the same theme as well. If you are stating to get bored of Vanilla Dominion I highly suggest this one as your first expansion because there are not really any new rules, and the game does not become over complicated.

> 3 daySuch a great expansion, easily one of our favorites so far! My only complaint is that my box was significantly damaged when it arrived.

> 3 daySuper-fun... our household added to our normal Dominion set and we really enjoy using it. Keep in mind you need the original Dominion game to use this one, though -- its like an expansion.

> 3 dayFor fans of dominion, this is one of the must have extensions. The addition of colony and platinum nod high priced kingdom cards can make your games last longer and more nail biting. This is the first expansion I bought(with intrigue) and months later, I am still happy playing with it!
