Rio Grande Games Dominion Prosperity

Prosperity is by far my favorite expansion for Dominion. I think that adding Platinum for money and Colony for victory make the overall strategy different from the base game. I love having game nights and playing with my friends.

Never met a Dominion Expansion I didnt love. Only a few more expansions to go!

Game came used. Plastic inside box was broken and cracked. Box is slightly bent. Cards felt used. Mats were already punched out.

Dominion is a wonderful game, with great card artwork and a pretty good balance. There is an issue with the baseset that gets resolved with Prosperity and further expansions. The baseset favors the purchase of treasure and makes a bit of an unbalanced game.... One further note: buy card sleeves. There is a LOT of shuffling in this game and your cards will be destroyed if they are not sleeved. Get Fantasy Flight 59x92....

This expansion pack is a must-have for any Dominion love. The concept is bigger=better. Theres more valuable money, larger victory points, and kingdom cards that cost more and do cool things. As Ive found with other Dominion expansions, the benefits of an expansion really come out when you play primarily within an expansion. If you mix and match too much, what each expansion is trying to accomplish becomes diminished. That being said, its always fun to throw the Platinum (cost 9, worth 5 treasure) or Colony (cost 11, worth 10 victory points) cards into any game. Highly recommended.

This is an expansion so you must have the original game. Also, it is best to be familiar with all of the cards and ways to play the original. This expansion not only adds many new cards, it also add new concepts, especially new ways to get victory points. If you know how to play the original, you can learn this quickly. It also adds new types of treasure cards, spending money which also has extra actions. This is lots of fun, as long as you understand the way this game is played.

This set has some extremely over-powered cards which makes it a bit unplayable in combination with other sets, but by its self, its a great game.

If youre only going to get one expansion, get this one.

Bigger better deck. If Scrooge McDuck played Dominion, this would be his set. changes the game a TON just because now people dont necessarily want the game to end as quickly.
