This is a fun extension to Dominion, adds alot of cash to your game. This is fun for family game night.

If you like the base game Dominion and was wondering if Prosperity is a good expansion. Id say yes, it is a good expansion, Prosperitys theme is based on increasing wealth, treasures with abilities and cards that deal with them. Like Seaside, it introduces additional player mats, coins, and of course, new combinations of cards. Plus, with each expansion, comes slightly new rule tweaks for the new expansion. Weve found Dominion is really not our type of game. Especially the base Dominion game, which I found to have more of a solitaire feel to it. Intrigue changes that a bit, allowing more confrontation, and it can be played alone and along with all other Dominion expansions, including this one. I was thinking the other day, is Dominion the new Catan, in terms of expansions and expansions that follow the base game? It feels that way, but the Catan base game is better than Dominion base game, while Dominion expansions are better than Catan expansions. Just a thought and an opinion. So, 4 stars for Prosperity as an expansion. I gave the base game 3 stars, and Intrigue and Seaside each 4 stars, for reference. The game is great and adds a lot to the game and I love it. This review of 4 stars instead of 5 is based off the damaged box. I wish it hadnt arrived damaged.

Great fun, but a bit complicated to understand in the beginning. It helps to play with someone who already has played this edition. Still a rip off that you MUST have the original Dominion to play any of the extensions. Still, were hooked and love playing the game. Only gave it 4 stars because of the price. There are some empty slots, so you could have come up with some more action cards.

We really liked what Prosperity did for our Dominion game. Its more satisfying to play with the extra money for some reason and the new cards are fun.

I really like this expansion. Especially the additional treasure cards and victory points. I think this creates a very interesting variation the the base Dominion set. I would suggest getting this expansion after buying the orriginal base Dominion set. Once I own them all Ill be able to give a more accurate comparison between each expansion and the variation of game play.

The game was everything I expected but when I received the game the box had a huge dent in it...

Expensive, but its worth it for the hours of fun with many friends compared to going to movies once for $10 bucks per person.

If youve played Dominion, youll know what youre getting. Some interesting new cards, as well as tokens (a new way to collect victory points). It would have been nice if the game included the few extra cards (money and victory cards) to make it a complete set, but as it is you cant play it without the original Dominion.

Ah, money. There"s nothing like the sound of coins clinking in your hands. You vastly prefer it to the sound of coins clinking in someone else"s hands, or the sound of coins just sitting there in a pile that no-one can quite reach without getting up. Getting up, that"s all behind you now. Life has been good to you. Just ten years ago, you were tilling your own fields in a simple straw hat. Today, your kingdom stretches from sea to sea, and your straw hat is the largest the world has ever known. You also have the world"s smallest dog, and a life-size statue of yourself made out of baklava. Sure, money can"t buy happiness, but it can buy envy, anger, and also this kind of blank feeling. You still have problems troublesome neighbors that must be conquered. But this time, you"ll conquer them in style. This is the 4th addition to the game of Dominion. It adds 25 new Kingdom cards to Dominion, plus 2 new Basic cards that let players keep building up past Gold and Province. The central theme is wealth, there are treasures with abilities, cards that interact with treasures, and powerful expensive cards.
