First I want to give 5 stars to Dominion. Dominion is a great game and you should buy it. If youve already bought Dominion and want to know if this is a good expansion, the answer is also Yes The emphasis on this game is money/high cost cards. A lot of very powerful cards that make the later half of the game more interesting than just buying Gold/Provinces. Also there are some cards that cost 7, which is nice, since having 7 money in your hand is usually very disappointing. I have most of the Dominion expansions and I think Prosperity is my second favorite (Seaside is #1). The Platinum/Colony cards help extend the game, and Goon cards give you an entirely new way to play! My all time favorite card (Kings Court) is also included in this expansion. This is a very solid addition to your Dominion experience!

My husband LOVED his christmas gift! Id done research that this was the best expansion and that is not letting me down so far! I love the quality of the real metal victory point tokens and coins. The colony and platinum cards are awesome since we are all about getting money and more points. Get this expansion if you want to make your game more satisfying where no one is stuck with a deck full of coppers and estates and can spend massive amounts of treasure each turn!

This is my favorite expansion pack to a really great game. The addition of platinum(Worth 5 coins) and colonies(Worth 10 VP) adds a new dimension. Many of the cards are more expensive, but powerful enough to justify the cost. Overall it makes the game longer, which allows for more strategic planning in preparation for the end game.

This expansion of Dominion is one of our favorites. The extra treasure and victory point cards add an entirely new dimension to the game that adds wonderful variety. In relation to other expansions, enjoyed Seaside and Cornucopia more than Prosperity, and we enjoyed Prosperity more than Intrigue and Alchemy.

My favorite addition to my board game collection to date. This expansion really changes the mechanics of Dominion. We added this to our base set, as it was recommended to be the best first expansion to purchase. I recommend getting this is you love dominion and want to spice up your gameplay. Great game.

Prosperity has really good cards but does take more effort to play, in particular keeping track of everyones victory points which adds work to the game, not a big deal but Prosperity games do tend to go slower and be more taxing on your brain.

THE best expansion in Dominion, makes the game far more enjoyable when you add in Platinum and Colonies. Some treacherous attacks as well.

Ah, money. There"s nothing like the sound of coins clinking in your hands. You vastly prefer it to the sound of coins clinking in someone else"s hands, or the sound of coins just sitting there in a pile that no-one can quite reach without getting up. Getting up, that"s all behind you now. Life has been good to you. Just ten years ago, you were tilling your own fields in a simple straw hat. Today, your kingdom stretches from sea to sea, and your straw hat is the largest the world has ever known. You also have the world"s smallest dog, and a life-size statue of yourself made out of baklava. Sure, money can"t buy happiness, but it can buy envy, anger, and also this kind of blank feeling. You still have problems troublesome neighbors that must be conquered. But this time, you"ll conquer them in style. This is the 4th addition to the game of Dominion. It adds 25 new Kingdom cards to Dominion, plus 2 new Basic cards that let players keep building up past Gold and Province. The central theme is wealth, there are treasures with abilities, cards that interact with treasures, and powerful expensive cards.
