Robert Kaufman SS-101-40 Kona Solids Skinny Strips, 40 Piece, Black

Kona cotton is my go to fabric for quilt projects. I love precuts.

The strips were cut accurately and should have saved me a lot of time but I HATE the pinked edges. The strips shed little dots of fabric all over everything: my cutting mat, the floor, my brand new expensive sewing machine, my clothes.... I even tried vaccuming the edges to help removing all the shedding but it didnt help. I will not be buying Kona 1 12 strips again.

I saw a new pattern I wanted to make and it was a small sized quilt. Then discovered you can even purchase black in the skinny size which will be perfect for this mini quilt.

True cut. Nice weight fabric.

Using these 1 1/2 inch strips to make my next quilt top! They work perfect with my bright/bold colored jelly roll.

I was very disappointed with how this felt. It does not feel like cotton quilting fabric. I bought it to use in a gift. If it were going to be used in something Id be keeping, I would send it back. The label is plain. I seriously doubt that it is Robert Kaufman. But, its here. Ill use it.

Excellent fabric and consistency in cuts. Saves a lot of time in cutting narrow 1-1/2” strips for quilt construction.
