Rockford Fosgate 8 AWG Amplifier Install Kit with Interconnect

Got this for a alpine PWE-S8. Didn’t think the thickness was the right size until I saw it was O2 free copper. Kit worked great. Didn’t end up using the ground as the subs ground was long enough for me.

Installed a 12 Rockford Fosgate sub with built in amp in my 2004 Ford Explorer using this kit. Very high quality wired with good flexibility. Everything I needed was included in this kit. Been using Rockford Fosgate products for a long time now and they never disappoint.

Quality product power cord could be about 3’ longer for my double cab Silverado but made it work.

Really surprised this failed to provide all the crimp connectors needed for installation. For some reason they provide some never needed for this kit. Had to use my own 8 gauge ends for proper install

Decent quality cables here. A true 8-gauge power wire, not like some of the cheaper stuff with thick sleeves. My only issue was that in my Grand Marquis, there was barely enough wire to run from the battery back to the trunk. I went over the passenger side wheel well, through the firewall, under the door sill, up behind the rear seat, directly into the trunk. I only have about 3 feet (or less) of slack in the trunk. So I had to place the sub upside down (so the connection panel was facing the passenger side of the vehicle) to get this to reach. Most vehicles arent as big as a Grand Marquis, so you should be fine with this, but always measure, and allow for more than you think youll need!

This is the second one I purchased. I have one in a pick-up and one in a car. There was plenty of wire included to do both applications. This is high quality wire with grommets and connectors included to install an amp effortlessly.
