Rockford Fosgate P500X1BD Punch 500 Watt Class-bd Mono Amplifier

Came with a tuning cd, and although its rated at 500w rms, the birth sheet says it put out 761 watts.

I have been a fan of Rockford Phosgate for decades. When it was time to do another install for a new vehicle, choosing RF was easy. Performance is fantastic! It runs the pair of RF 2ohm 600w 12 woofers very well. I am nearing the end of their break-in period and have only had the volume up about 75%. They thump better than I hoped for! The amp itself had some confusing instructions regarding the possibility of clipping, but was able to figure it out. It also came with a CD that is used to dial in the signal. I am quite happy with my purchase :)

I have this amp, which the birth certificate shows 750 watts rms @ 1 ohm, pushing a RF 12 P3D2...............LOUD!!!!! Makes people think I have a pair of 12s. Its also very clean, and have surprised alot of people with the quality of sound.

I could never get this amp to work properly. Half the time, it wouldnt even turn on.

Match this with one subwoofer DVC 2-ohm wiring to 1-ohm load or a pair of subwoofers DVC 4-ohm wiring to 1-ohm load to get the max power of this amp. Great amp.

I bought 2 of these...one for my challenger and one for my magnum....they are both pushing a pair of rockford fosgate P2d4 10s run down to one ohm in sealed boxes...and both amps handle it with ease and dont even get warm ....they have been in use for about 4 months now and slam like day 1....the one had a 768w birth certificate and the other was 752w at 1 ohm....

This amp is the best you can buy if you were to buy an amp the power is phenomenal lots of strong power and it lasts long long time if you to buy an amp you should get this one or stick with the same brand
