Rothco Canvas Zipper Duffle Bag

> 3 dayarrived quickly and the bag seems to be well made, I used it on my motorcycle recently and it did become brittle and break slightly in the areas that were near the exhaust pipe. I monitored it vigorously and at no point was it closer than 6 inches away from the heat source. I actually had nylon webbing straps closer to the pipes then the bag that were completely fine, while the bag melted underneath them. Nice bag, do not expect any heat resistance.

Greater than one weekThis duffle bag is great for travelling! It has very little weight compared to those other giant, heavy suitcases. The only con I would say is the color, but it is a small thing to give up in order to be able to travel with more items.

> 3 dayThis bag is GIGANTIC. Im a big guy (61 290) and I can get in it and zip it closed with some fidgeting room to spare. I call it my Dead-Body Duffle. You can fill the bag, but be careful what you fill it with. You may end up needing help to move it.

Greater than one weekAll I have done so far is pack my inflatable boat in it, but this bag is great! It seemed a little small at first, but once I started to put the boat and oars in it, it took everything with a little room to spare. Bag seems to be made out of a higher quality canvas material.

> 3 dayThis duffel takes a beating at fire camps. Plenty of room for my tent, tarps, and other gear, pack and ready to go at a moments notice.

> 3 dayIt is hard to find a bag this large. I needed it to house a cabin tent that was backed into the original bag with a pneumatic press. This bag was more than large enough to house it. It seems to be very sturdy, I am so glad I was able to find it.

> 3 dayTHERE ARE NO REINFORCEMENT SEEMS RUNNING AROUND THE GIRTH OF THE BAG, AT EACH END. FORTUNATELY, CANVAS IS STRONG ON ITS OWN AND WILL LAST A FAIR LENGTH OF TIME DEPENDING ON USE. THEY DO NOT INCLUDE THE CARRYING HANDLE, WHICH I FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY.

> 3 dayI have a few of these in different sizes. Strong seams, zippers and thick fabric. Great value.

> 3 dayiTS A GOOD STRONG BAG. I PLAY DRUMS AND I USE IT FOR MY HARDWARE. THE ONLY PROBLEM FOR ME WAS THAT IT HAS NO STRAP GOING THE LENGTH OF THE BAG, SO I COULDNT PUT IT OVER MY SHOULDER. SO I TOOK THE STRAP OFF MY OLD BAG AND ATTACHED IT TO THE METAL RINGS ON THE ENDS OF THIS BAG, AND IT WORKS FOR ME NOW. MICK.

> 3 dayDont get me wrong, I love them, but I couldnt imagine lugging around one of these giant bags for very long. Im over 6 feet tall and its still hard to keep it off the ground when I sling it over my back. I originally purchased one of the top-loading 30 x 50 bags to store my large telescope when I travel. I liked it so much, I purchased another for my inflatable boat. This time I bought a side-loading bag and I couldnt be happier. I actually ended up using the top-load bag for my boat and lined the side-zipper one with foam to use with my telescope. These things are made of thick canvas thats made to last. The zipper is heavy duty and extends virtually the entire length of the bag, making it fairly easy to load and unload. If youre looking for a big, tough bag and youre not trying to make a fashion statement, get one of these.
