I used this umbrella a couple of times in the rain and it frequently folds inwards with wind. It also doesnt seem that durable overall, it would be much better as a sun umbrella

If your older and your hands dont work 100 percent your gonna have a hard time. This umbrella opens very easy. But closing it is very hard to do.

This umbrella is one of the best Ive ever owned. It is a nice and large size, when opened, so your whole body is covered. The easy open function works really well. Having it close inverted makes use even easier than a normal one. You can tell the umbrella has the reflective lining and uv protection as well, which is a nice touch.

RUMBRELLA Inverted Folding Umbrella for Rain, 50 Inch Anti-UV Protection Automatic Car Travel Umbrella with Safety Reflective Strip This is a great umbrella. I really like that if folds backwards so that the wet part stays inside and the dry part is what ends up on the floor of my car. I got the yellow one and it is such a happy, bright yellow. There is a reflective strip around the edge which is a nice safety feature. there is a button in the handle to push to pop it open and it’s kind of cool because it’s clear and you can see inside the handle. This umbrella also has UV protection so you can use it on sunny days to get some shade. It also come with with a little UV card that you can expose to the sun and see how strong it is that day.

This is a good quality portable umbrella. I keep this umbrella in my car because you never know when youre going to need one. When its collapsed it takes up very little space. It has a nice carry bag that it fits neatly into when not in use. Today when going to work it was pouring rain so I got to test it out. I simply pulled the umbrella out of the bag pushed the handy button and it popped right open. It is nice and lightweight and dries very quickly. The construction seems sturdy and the fabric is of good quality. Best of all and I got inside work and I was dry, others not so much.

Im still waiting for it to rain. I opened it in the house and thought how upset my superstitious mother would be. It opened and closed nicely. I imagine I will end up tossing the storage bag. It folds up small enough and if put away wet, it might get mildewy. So far it has stayed dry (California).

I have another of these, but it’s flimsy and badly designed. This one seems legit. Everything about this umbrellas screams “solid.” It’s not too heavy but feels like it’s built to last. It’s spring loaded like most umbrellas, but this one literally jumps into open position, yet isn’t hard to collapse. And it doesnt take a lot of fiddling around to get it back into its case, as so many collapsible umbrellas do. Its 50 inch circumference is enough for two, yet as large as it is, it folds up into a genuinely travel size for packing into a carryon bag. Well done. recommended.

I have only started to use this umbrella, but love the pink color, and enjoy that it has a button to open and to quickly invert to close. It seems durable and comes with a nice guarantee in manufacturing, so hopefully it will last, even if used in windy and rainy conditions. So far so good!

Full disclosure we live in California and our rain is not like others rain. With that said, since this umbrella closes in, you wont necessarily have to soak your back seat when you put in the car. Additionally, it lets you pull off the move where you get in the car and pull the umbrella in after you without having to completely open your door. The only con I can see is that in a wind/rain storm (I think they are called a hurricane) it probably would not hold up as well as a big “wind proof” golf umbrella. The only other thing to note is the spring when you put it away was too stiff for my 5-year-old girls to reset, so it is certainly more of an adult umbrella. If feel like I could actually recommend it to family.

I was a little bit skeptical when I received this umbrella because it was light for its size, due to being mostly plastic construction. Ive seen many an umbrella bend easily, or snap in a strong wind. This umbrella has been surprisingly durable. The canopy is large and sturdy, with a heavier canvas than some other inexpensive umbrellas. The slider sticks a bit but it doesnt take much effort to get it to expand to full length. This has held up in wind, rain and hail, and our high schooler has claimed it as her own for its protection.
