> 3 dayLove this polisher! It has a high-quality feel, strong motor and is the perfect size for all tasks on my Mini Cooper. In my experience, unlike other polishers using smaller pads (e.g. Griots), this machine is not limited to A pillars, headlights and the like--I use it on every panel on the car and so far it has easily been up to the challenge. Ive not yet tried doing really deep corrections with it, but it, along with the right combination of pads and polishes, brought out a whole new level of color, shine and smoothness in my well-maintained finish (and the spider webs on the plastic pillars and bumpers are now all gone). One gripe: the on/off switch is oddly stiff, and moving it to the on position requires you to push a recessed switch while working against a really strong spring. I have some arthritis in my fingers so Im sure its more noticeable to me than most, but it can be a pain to deal with if you are turning the polisher on and off a lot between panels. Small quibble for a great machine, though, and Id buy again in a heartbeat.

> 3 dayExceptional small DA with great coverage. Easy to do bumpers, pillars, mirrors and spoilers with. Polishes and finishes with ease. Also great for spreading wax evenly. Best feature is it doesnt fatigue your hands and wrist with excess vibration. I owned another 3 DA before this and there is no comparing the two. The Rupes system, pads and polish are truly incredible.

> 3 dayWhen I initially purchased this as part of my arsenal almost 2 years ago, I thought I was gaining all the benefits from using a top-tier machine. While it worked for a majority of jobs, the power cord was a tremendous headache and no matter how well I wrapped it after every use, it would still coil itself into small bunches. After the second year, I would have to manually contort the strain relief just to keep it operational. Once I called Rupes to try and troubleshoot my problem, they suggested I send it to their distribution center for a diagnostic test of $129, which doesnt include parts and labor. Really, guys? A diagnostic fee that roughly equates to replacing another machine? Shortly thereafter, I figured out that the wiring had short-circuited and required a soldering job with an aftermarket power cord. The band-aid treatment lasted no more than two weeks before the machine completely kicked tires. Thanks for nothing, Rupes. A tremendous waste of time and money. Im now exclusive to Flex.
