I cannot in good conscious give this 5 stars. Minus 1 star-lowest rpm is still way too fast for working in tight areas. Minus 1 star-rpm sensing does not work properly on my unit. Example, I am cutting and polishing a 18 subwoofer box painted black with clearcoat. The customer wanted the 1 recess lip polished like glass. Because of the small area the polisher would occasionally come off the lip, when it does, it would cause the pad to blowout because of high rpm. This is on setting 1. I encountered similar problems applying Sealant to our new N-Line Sonatas bumpers. Lots of weird sharp shapes. I have used lots of buffers in my time, this one was a real disappointment. I will give it 3 stars though. It has the best name, Mini-Bigfoot!

Love this polisher! It has a high-quality feel, strong motor and is the perfect size for all tasks on my Mini Cooper. In my experience, unlike other polishers using smaller pads (e.g. Griots), this machine is not limited to A pillars, headlights and the like--I use it on every panel on the car and so far it has easily been up to the challenge. Ive not yet tried doing really deep corrections with it, but it, along with the right combination of pads and polishes, brought out a whole new level of color, shine and smoothness in my well-maintained finish (and the spider webs on the plastic pillars and bumpers are now all gone). One gripe: the on/off switch is oddly stiff, and moving it to the on position requires you to push a recessed switch while working against a really strong spring. I have some arthritis in my fingers so Im sure its more noticeable to me than most, but it can be a pain to deal with if you are turning the polisher on and off a lot between panels. Small quibble for a great machine, though, and Id buy again in a heartbeat.

Polisher itself is awesome 5/5, but after first use the backing plate needs to be replaced

This polisher is just the right size to fit on the smaller areas of a car. If you need something to fit into smaller areas I would suggest the rupes ibrid Nano

The LHR 75E is a must for any detailer wishing to obtain perfect results, even in the most difficult areas, including difficult shapes and for spot repair operations. The 12 mm orbit achieves quick results on areas such as mudguards and front panels. The small machine allows for comfortable handling and accuracy in detail polishing.
