I love this stuff. Car manufacturers use this stuff to seal plastic on the insides of the doors, and for sealing the light housings together to prevent water leaks and it is a necessity for any car or project. I am using this to add a plastic layer on the insides of my classic cars doors and this is perfect to stick that plastic down.

Caulking is not my favorite pastime. The cleanup takes longer than the application. Now, Rvhouse changes all that at a reasonable price. I made my seals in record time without any special skills. Too soon to know how well it wears, but so far, so good.

We have an old metal roof that was put on in the sixties. As you can imagine, we have to patch it up quite often and deal with leaks. We have found that this type of tape does wonders and helps us extend the life of the roof a little longer so we were interested in trying this particular brand. Here are our thoughts: We like how thin it is in width because it makes it easy to maneuver between tight spaces. We put this around the outside lining of the roof, underneath the corner of the siding and it fit just perfectly. This truly is waterproof. The outer layer of the tape is waterproof but there is also the putty underneath that is attached that helps secure a water tight seal. You can even switch it down and mold it to the shape you need for further sealing. We are all around very happy with this and will most likely be purchasing this in the future. Highly recommended.

I love how easy this is to adhere to the windows. The adhesive that they use for this stuff is outstanding! Its been on for just a couple of weeks but it has been extremely cold where I live. Works great and is easy to put up. I dont recall any instructions that were in the plastic bag that it came in though. I would buy this exact one again when needed again.

Ive used putty tape like this for various projects over the years. This Rvhouse brand seems to have the same pliability and sealing capability as all the other butyl putty tapes Ive used but comes at a much better price than what I can find at my local hardware store.

This tape has worked great for anything that needs sealing from moisture. Great to use around the home, auto, rv, and outside projects. It adheres very well.

I had some boat portholes that leaked every time I hit a wave, as the old bedding had dried out. After removal and a little cleanup, I used this tape to reseal them. The one inch was a little wide, so I applied it to the porthole flange, then using a sharp (new) box cutter, cut the excess off from the paper side before removing the paper. This stuff is really sticky, but using one hand to lightly pull on the cut piece while cutting worked well. It was a hot day, and this sticks to everything it touches. Once in position and screwed back on, it was ready for service - and I had it out recently and no more leaks. I feel this works better than the old method of bedding these portholes.

Its a little hard to get the peel off tape started but it was the same product the factory used on my camper.

Ive never used butyl tape before and I have to say Im sold. I needed to seal up a hole on a RV battery box around the cable and this was perfect. Easy to work with and mold to what I needed. I did put it in the fridge first as per others recommendation.
